  • Tranquil Paradise

    Set in the rural foothills close to the beach New Cambium provides an idyllic retreat. Rustic surroundings but very comfortable houses to rent. We had a great time earlier this year when we visited for 7 weeks in February and March.

    Pros: Beautiful setting, lots of space to roam clothes free, proximity to the beach where one can walk for miles naked. Friendly residents and visitors. Fantastic climate with trade winds sending a cool breeze. Warm sunny days , river and pool to swim in.

  • An island paradise!

    I recently returned from a three week vacation at Cambium and really enjoyed the experience! It was great to be able to drop my cares and clothes at the bamboo gate to this lovely idyllic naturist community and spend three weeks exploring this tropical oasis totally clothes free. Some of my favorite spots included a hike to the natural waterfall and reading a book in a shady spot by the pool. What I will remember most fondly about my Cambium experience is being able to form a social bubble with the warm and friendly residents I met there.

    Pros: Friendly residents, swimming pool, lots of sights to see, many walking trails and roads, natural waterfall.

    Cons: Rough and impassible roads. Unexpected blaring music carries over from rural bars nearby.

    Great place in a beautiful setting. Idyllic. I was so very impressed. Beautiful mountains and located in a lush setting. A naturist paradise.

    Pros: Reasonable rates, incredible scenery, great beach nearby for clothing optional use.

    Cons: Roads are not paved. Located over one hour away from Puerto Plata .
