  • We Had a Great Time

    This is a non-landed club that had an event at a private backyard with a pool near University Park, IL and we had a blast. It was the first time for my domestic partner and my second time, but I haven't been in a very long time. We had a great time and everyone was polite and friendly. This group has a lot of diversity, which was great to see. There were more men than women, but the ratio was much better than I had hoped. We hope to go to other events this year.

    Pros: Hostess was friendly and helped us get settled in. People were friendly and diverse.

    Cons: They only meet once or twice a month, so we have to be flexible to be able too attend events.
