My Local Beach
4.00On a fine sunny day this location can create its own micro climate. I went today and the temperature of Plymouth was 11c, yet when I got to this beach it was more like 18C. It was lovely and very comfortable to be naked in the spring sunshine. At low tide you can walk to the far beach and enjoy a long naked walk, just take not of the tide times, as you can get cut off. The far beach has a walk that can take you to the coastal path, it is steep and can be tricky. But it is an escape route that can save you from a long wait for the tide to recede. Being a long beach it has space to cater for all…
Pros: Its sheltered from all but Southern winds. Long beach with three separate sections. Lovely and warm when you are out of the wind
Cons: Access. Just one word. It can be tricky to get to at high tide, and not suitable for people who have mobility issues at any time.

Great naturist beach
4.00Visited on August bank holiday Saturday 2017. Lovely day - this is a beautiful long beach and plenty of space to have peace and quiet, great place to be naked free and natural. I came down path from main road or if watch the tide times can walk from Downderry itself and can walk around to each bay safely. It has to be a favourite.
Pros: Great beach, plenty of room, easy to get into sea to swim as no big rocks.
Cons: Sand can be a bit gritty, watch tide as can get cut off, but can walk back up path but long walk lol
