  visited middlebay beach twice over December 2025. there's plenty of buses that takes one to repulse bay and then it's only a 10 to 15min walk to middle beach, both days was very quiet, hardly any local families on the beach,only single men in very skimpy speedo and a foreign father and daughter enjoying the beach. the walk way to the rocky more secluded area to the right of middlebay was closed due to landslide, so officially should take the path from the road just before reaching middlebay. the smaller mixed rocky/ sandy beach is very secluded and that's where the nude bathers go.   Pros: one of very few places in hongkong that one can go naked but discretion required

• A modest beach

  As a child, I learned how to swim on this beach in mass swimming classes. We graduated by swimming from this beach over to Repulse Bay Beach. Many years later, this became my regular beach to enjoy outdoor nudity whenever I visit Hong Kong. While the main beach is clean and quiet, the lifeguard station meant you cannot be nude. A short walk to the far right over the rocky area on a paved road, the smaller pebbly beach is where you can enjoy the sun in the nude. The locals are not chatty, but not unfriendly. I have enjoyed many delightful afternoon here away from the busy city.

  Pros: Proximity to town.

  Cons: Pebbly, so bring a thick towel.

  This is a beautiful 1km beach, white sand, clear, clean water and even though it was a Sunday, only one other couple . Very easy to shelter under the trees. One drawback is getting there, Tends to have more men than women,
