Nice beach now the water has receded, with lots of areas to spread out. The nude area is from the trail-head across the railway where it hits the beach and then to the right almost to a cabin on the beach, several hundred metres. A few boats pulled up or moored and a small houseboat moored offshore with folks swimming to shore to lounge about or staying in the boats. The "Nude Beach" sign on a tree is obviously visible from the lake. Nice mix of couples and singles, mostly nude but a few textiles mixed in the three dozen or so nudists. Very nice and laid-back and accepting crowd. Some smoking…
Pros: Great clear water and decent gravel and sand areas. Good crowd of regulars and visitors. Easy access for boats.
Cons: Parking can be at a premium on high visitor days. Crossing the railway can cause issues when the Railway cops appear or a train is parked. Mosquitoes are a nuisance in early summer when lake levels are high and the beach area is reduced.
