Northern Exposure primarily holds swims in the Albany, NY area from October to April twice a month. Once on Sunday afternoons and the other time on Saturday evenings. In addition they make trips to landed clubs during the summer, go to the Sunchasers nude bowling event each November, and travel to a CO Bed and Breakfast in the Adirondacks. The group is friendly with a nice mix of couples, single men, single women, and married single men. The place they rent from requests that participants be 18 and above. Snacks are provided. The facility only has a swimming pool, no sauna or hot tub. A messag…

Pros: Nice friendly group. Active group.

Cons: Facility for swims lacks hot tub, sauna. Water can be sort of cool on Sunday`s swims.

  • Lighthouse Beach

Directions need to be improved: Go to Robert Moses State Park, park at the most east of the lot attendant booth (turn left that is). Walk to towards the lighthouse (you can either from the beach or the road). Take the second beach access point and continue east. There are markers that state "You may encounter unclothed people". You`ve arrived. There are some really nice personal people... one gentleman who is self-described as the beach nazi (if you litter, expect to be asked to pick up). So nice that there are people like him who care about this clean, and nude beach.

Pros: Great sand, water was cold, but ok. Patroled by Park Police. I felt very safe.

    Cons: Lurkers and looky-loos
