i love to cook and eat (no kidding!?), movies, books, philosophical discussions, psychology, computers, tech, gadgets, renaissance, rome, italy, celts, doctor who, torchwood, dune, sci-fi & fantasy (duh), English lit, history, art, museums etc. Goodness! there's so much I don't know how can I choose? I love stretching my mind and the idea of constant evolving to incorporate new ideas and thoughts. I received a huge compliment, in my mind, several years ago, when someone characterized me as a renaissance man. That phrase speaks to my liberal arts education and my ideal. I am a student of my profession, an able apprentice at all things I try, but I wish to aspire to be someone without regrets and competent in my chosen endeavor.

Oh goodness. Is there really any music that is all out bad? Ok, i'm an old fogey and rap isn't my cup of tea. But anything from classical to jazz to r&b, to hard rock, to soft rock, to new wave, to new age, to celtic to soundtracks, to pop is all a dish that infuses the listener in a new experience.

Goodness! Where to begin! Ok, let me check the collection of items I have and have watched more than once. Again, these are my all time favorites. "Braveheart", "Rob Roy", "Remains of the Day", "Gladiator", "I, Claudius" (does that count as a movie?), "Horatio Hornblower (see previous comment), "Lord of the Rings" (all three parts), "Se7en", "Silence of the Lambs", "Star Trek: Voyage Home", "Usual Suspects", "Matrix", "Iron Man", "Ghandi", "Amadeaus", "The Right Stuff", "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider", and I'm sure I'm missing a whole bunch.

I saw this answer on someone else's profile and it moved me. So, I'm going to use it too. "Jesus Christ". Now I'm going to add some odd ones that might seem a juxtaposition. "Julius Ceaser", "Winston Churchill", "Shakespeare", "Albert Einstein", "Ghandi", :Elizabeth I", "Mohammed", "Martin Luther King". An interesting mix, I grant you,but each contributed to our western civilization in ways that are so far reaching. Imagine, if you will (using my best Rod Sterling voice), all these people sitting down to dinner. Wouldn't you love to just be a fly on the wall?
