Retired, kayaker, sometimes surfer, freethinker, extreme agnostic or otherwise a de-facto atheist, reader(non-fiction) with an appreciation for secular Zen philosophy. Also, I should say that there has been an evolution to my thinking over the decades. Things I might have accepted and believed in the past possibly now have been tossed onto the rubbish heap of continued growth and self- investigation. The individual is no less fixed in position micro-cosmically than the Universe is macro-cosmically. Change...evolution... is the only constant. Keep on evolving....and keep on thinking free ! Also, I am an occasional member of The Naturist Society....but sometimes I let my membership lapse from time to time. Sex-wise, I am on a straight/ bi-curious cusp. But frankly I think any "true nudist" would not have sexual encounters as their primary goal for being on this site. But I'm not so naive at my age to think that is really the case. Some are quite obvious and blatant about what they are looking for. I originally put "N/A" as my sexual preference. Then one day I changed it to Bi-Curious ! Frankly, I prefer simple nudity without the added pressure (requirement?) of having to become sexual. Let's get naked and be cool about it, and I'll be cool about it too !

Straight, gay, bi, bi-curious.....male or female. I think all persuasions are acceptable and understandable in the context of human nature. I won't criticize anyone for their sexual preferences (apart from any that might do someone harm). In my own case, I'm not asking for or looking for sexual relationships or hook-ups, but initially just want to get to know other nudists. I frankly just enjoy being nude, plain and simple !

I'm multi-faceted in that respect. My non-fiction readings include in part, history, current affairs, various cultural belief systems regarding religion, atheism/humanism, cosmology, particle physics, anthropology, archaeology, etc., etc., etc. That said....I am no scholar. I have a B.A. in Journalism and a B.A. in Visual Arts....but who doesn't have a degree of some kind these days? I'm the eternal student and can never know or learn enough. But in that respect, I am a jack-of-all-trades...master of none!

Again...very broad. From primitive cultures to classical....Delta blues, rock and roll (50's, 60's, 70's)....Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Who. Leo Kottke on acoustic guitar. Some Country, but mostly older stuff....Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins, Willie Nelson. Music of other cultures....India, Japan, Middle East. There's more: Miles Davis, Bach, Vivaldi, Telemann, Jethro Tull, Moody Blues, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Bob Marley, Segovia, Jeff Beck......I could go on and on !

I love Westerns....including old black and whites.(I was a kid in the 1950's when Westerns were dominant on TV in the U.S.) Adventure preferred ! Jeremiah Johnson, Dances With Wolves, The Man Who Would Be King, The Emerald Forest, Legends Of The Fall, Zulu, Three Days Of The Condor, Papillon, etc. But I also like The Big Lebowski, Animal House, Office Space, Fast Times At Ridgemont High, etc. In college I took film history courses that spanned the times from the silent film era to current fare....including subtitled foreign films.

Stephen Hawking, Joseph Campbell, Christopher Hitchens....for starters! Heck....I have to model myself after somebody (And then go my own way)! Lol! Frankly, I wish that I had a particle of the genius and perceptions that reside within the people that I admire.
