Dave Shaver

I am 1/4 Cherokee - born in Philadelphia and grew up in California and Florida. I am a member of the Native American church. I am like a coyote, I sing, enjoy life, I avoid drama, I am a teacher and not afraid to speak the truth. Was in the Navy in the 70's, worked in radio in the 80's, and became a counselor in the 90's. Today, I am a weight-loss coach. I became a nudist when I was born, but my parents made me wear clothes all the time. I figured it all out about 10 years ago after my second marriage that modesty is ridiculous and so immature. I am not ashamed of myself anymore and enjoy pure freedom now. I've been an AANR member for 7 years. I camp out occasionally at Hidden River because it is so close. I love Cypress Cove, Lake Como and Paradise Lakes. Haulover beach is okay, but too "touristy". Apollo Beach is great but so remote. I have returned to my native roots and have found peace.
