I was raised in a very relaxed yet also structure household where we were very comfortable wearing whatever. It wasn't a conscious thought. Never even considered it a lifestyle, just sometimes wore clothes, sometimes only underwear, sometimes nothing. Mostly this was walking around the house to/from the bathroom and such, but we would lounge in little to nothing too. Mother asked us to stop when I was early teens and brother approaching teens. Never knew reasoning but had my suspicions. Years later (9-10 yrs) my brother informed me that he had spent the night and our mom's house one night due to being unable to get home due to alcohol consumption. He had gone nude at her house longer than casually walking to the bathroom, and she had no issues. So we gently began to engage in nude lounging and walking around the house again in our early 20s. (Mom & Dad divorced during the 9-10 yrs non-nude). I discovered that Nudism/Naturism was an actual lifestyle that people prefer to live in a handful of years after that and it is now a conscious effort and lifestyle for me. I enjoy the freedom, enjoy being outside and hiking and camping nude in spring/summer/fall, and it helps do less laundry (Lol).
