I'm a native Atlantan, married for 30+ years, with a grown son and two cats. I'm an IT professional who works for a Fortune 500 company, with the latter half of my career focused on Oracle database support. If that sounds good, just remember what the big companies are doing - shipping IT jobs out of the country as fast as they can. I'm an endangered species. Dilbert is a frighteningly accurate representation of my professional life. One of the guys in the office even looks like Wally. I've always been interested in nudism, and prefer to be nude at home when the season and my schedule permits. Beyond that, I have never quite worked up the nerve to just go to a clothing optional resort or beach. From that aspect, I'm a rank beginner. Part of my motivation for signing up here is to get a better understanding of social nudism - both benefits and pitfalls. I know. Someone reading this is thinking, "What are you doing? Just get out there!" I'm the type of person who prefers to research before diving in. Call it a hazard my trade.

Experienced nudists/naturists (or would it be better to say "clothing liberated individuals") who can provide insights on the social and cultural aspects of group settings.rnrn"Experienced" is not to imply old. In my view, anyone who's been to a clothing optional location a couple of times is well ahead of me.

I'm a big Science Fiction fan. We go to Dragon*Con every year in Atlanta. (Dragon*Con is the East Coast version of ComicCon.) Besides fiddling with computers - my home PC is a DIY build - I like to dabble in writing fan fiction. I don't know if it's really any good, but I like to think it at least improves my writing skills.
