About K
For most of my life I've had great difficulty being nude, especially around others. In 2014 I decided I needed to work at getting over this fear because there was a part of me that realised other guys really don't care if I'm nude. It took about 3 - 4 years of intentionally going to a steam room in a guys change room where I purposely didn't even have a towel. I've been to banya (sauna) with a group of Russian guys many times, and started going to the local nude beach every summer. Finally in 2020 I'm at a point where I am completely comfortable being nude and intentionally worked in a couple nude beaches during my summer vacation through B.C. (being a swimmer, I LOVED Nipple Point near Salmon Arm!) In August I bit the bullet and signed up with Calgary Nude Recreation, which has led me to this site. I've enjoyed meeting other nudists who have no sexual intent, but simply enjoy not wearing clothes. Having every-day conversations while basking in the sun nude has made this my most favourite summer yet... with anticipation of many more. During the winter, I'm hoping to introduce others into the Russian banya (European sauna) as it is a much better time with a group... playing board games, chatting about life and possibly getting beat with the venik branch (oak or birch). I am a committed Christian and take my faith seriously. This limits the types of activities I am willing to participate in. I do not attempt to impose my beliefs on anyone else. I grew up Protestant and have been Eastern Orthodox since 2004, so I have learned there are different approaches to worshipping God.
Other nudists to occasionally hang out with, especially at beaches banya, or camping.
Geocaching, board games, cycling, swimming, suntanning, banya (sauna), hiking, hand crafts.
I don't mind most music, but have a very small collection.
Not really a movie guy, documentaries mainly.
People who have worked through their adverse life conditions / challenges and are able to be thankful for the life they have. People who are honest.
