About Scott
I figure it's time for an update.... I'm still (happily?relentlessly?hopelessly?) single and continue reinventing my life and myself -- allowing myself to enjoy aspects of life that I was discouraged from in the past. From the age of 19 until 48, I was in 4 back-to-back relationships (1st was for 3 yrs, 2nd for 5 yrs, 3rd for 19 yrs, and 4th just under a year) so I had never really learned how to be single. When my last partner died suddenly just shy of our first anniversary, I decided that maybe it was The Universe telling me it was time that I learn. (Who knew it could/would be so much fun?!?) Time and again over the last 5 years, I keep getting presented with the same "life lesson": that there are no guarantees of tomorrow (I *knew* this..I *swear* I did, but just seemed to keep getting hit over the head with it.) So it has become my daily mantra ---- "Each and every day, tell those you love that you love them; acknowledge that there is Beauty in the everyday and the mundane; and knowing that certain uncertainty of tomorrow, GET NEKKID TODAY!
Mainly interested in meeting other local, like-minded males -- whether gay/str8/bi, it doesn't matter -- who are into hangin' out naked (and are chill enough that when someone pops a boner they're not going to shriek like schoolgirls...lol). If you're planning a trip to, or happen to be traveling in, central FL -- feel free to say hello!
Pretty varied -- love yardwork/gardening, avid reader, enjoy biking when I can, and meeting folks from all over the world...
I enjoy most types of music except rap -- have to admit though, I do really enjoy 80's music...lol
Dirty Grandpa, Tumbledown, The Hundred Foot Journey, All About Eve, Auntie Mame
Not every hero gets fanfare and accolades, parades or sometimes even a "thank you". To me, heroes manifest as single parents, or teachers in the classroom, or caregivers who go quietly about the act of surviving the day -- or any of countless others whose journey in life isn't smooth, or simple, or straightforward; those who carry on no matter what challenges Life puts before them. As Maryanne Radmacher said: "Courage does not always roar.... Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying 'I will try again tomorrow'."
