An Englishman looking for a better life away from the traditional 9-5 rat race survival that is pre-eminent among my peers back in the the UK. I'm a laid back, chilled out kind of guy, a bit of a "strong silent type" I've been told. However, when I get to know people, there's a lot more to me and I do have a great sense of humour.

Above all, I'm looking to make friends, be they female, male, or whatever. It's hard to meet people down in the Riviera so any contact, even if it's just a chat on email etc would be great

Okay, I love football, but not the premiership (think I'm a bit old school in that I support my home town team, and used to go to games as often as possible when I lived in the UK). I like to relax having a drink and chatting with firends. I'm also very interested in the current economic situation and politics. I mainly read non-fiction and sector specific publications although, every now and then, I'll pick up some fiction and be lost for a day or two!

All music has a time and a place although, I think my age might be telling in my current selection!
