About AE
Naturists together for 25+ years, members of TNS. Parents of two grown children, now looking forward to our time together as just us. We regularly visit Turtle Lake and Forest Hills resorts in Michigan, and when the plague has subsided plan to extend our naturist travels to Indiana and other Midwest locales including the World Naked Bike Ride in Chicago. Oh, and we're politically and socially liberal - in case that matters to you, because these are the times in which we live.
Like, famous people? Nah, were good. Regular people? We'd like to meet folks who just like naturism for naturism's sake without having a hidden agenda or weirdness. I mean, we used to be poly but that was way *way* too much drama, so now we'd just like to hang out, talk about random things like science and vague social theories, or watch some TV/movies simply enjoying the basic nudist experience. We have excruciatingly low expectations for it to ever happen that way, but we join forums like this to dream.
Unfortunately our main interests are in politics, religion, and social issues... the three easiest ways to start arguments with practically anybody. We bike, and we like picking a woodsy spot and doing light hiking/exploring. However, we are urban people at heart and aren't going to join anyone on an extreme wilderness excursion. Our camping/survivalist days are long past us and now our idea of roughing it is a Motel 6.
She likes Stevie Nicks, a bunch of weird hippie Pagan folk bands, and classic rock. I like Prince, New Order, and pretty much the entire Grammy nominations lists of "Best Pop/Rock Instrumental Performance" from the past 40 years.
I think every movie we've paid for in the past 10 years has been horror, sci-fi, or superhero. We're also aficionados of the Third Golden Age of Television. But we'll seriously watch anything if the people with us are interesting and nude. We regularly host "naked movie nights" for our friends (or at least will again, someday).
