I'm not huge on mainstream music, and tend toward the fringe. Here Come the Mummies, I Fight Dragons, Steam Powered Giraffe, The Cog is Dead, Weird Al (ok, sort-of mainstream), but I'm always looking for more.

The Princess Bride (Inconceivable!), The Fifth Element, Monty Python everything, The Court Jester, the list goes on and on.

Not to sound too mushy, but my Dad. A member of The Greatest Generation he had a major impact on me. I turned out mostly UNLIKE him, but I find myself emulating him more often than I care to admit.
