I am married with 5 wonderful kids, two who are still at home. I retired after 23 years in the US Air Force and now am a United Methodist pastor.

Married couples living in the midwest, particularly Iowa, Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska.

Almost too many to list, but I'll start with canoeing and camping. I enjoy fishing whenever I get a chance. I love to travel, but my wife likes to stay close to home, so we don't go far very often. I'm an avid reader and also enjoy a wide variety of music.

I like all kinds of music but am particularly fond of Folk, Alt. Folk and American Roots music.

My heroes are all related to my faith. I look up to people who are working to make Christianity more inclusive and more relevant: Nadia Bolz-Weber, Shane Claiborne, Tony Campolo, Peter Enns, Rachel Held Evans are just a few.
