Ham radio, storm chasing and weather, amateur astronomy, Movies, especially science fiction, fitness - I work out at the local gym, walk, run, cycle and swim. Taken up athletics in recent years as a sprinter and compete at local, state and national level in Masters and other competitions. Volunteer firefighting.

Most styles from classical to current pop, though 80's Top 40 is my favourite.

Where do I start? Science fiction - Star Wars, the Trek movies, 2001, etc. Like any movie of most genres with a good plot and good acting. Enjoy a lot of international, foreign language and other "non Hollywood formula" movies. Not into mindless violence or horror.
