Hi. *waves* I'm a geeky optimist, a huggy hermit, a dreamer with a tendency to walk into lampposts, and quite possibly the biggest caffeine addict on the planet. Someday I might grow up, but not today. Today is for climbing trees, enjoying the sunset, and possibly stumbling on a portal to elsewhere.

Despite appearances, I'm kind of an introvert, and love people who know when to keep it low-key or just let me have some me-time. Quirky and entertaining beats ambitious and successful every time, and kindness is what I treasure most of all.

Science, sci-fi and general nerdery. Technically correct is the best kind of correct!

Everything from indie pop to jazz and funk. I seem to be going through a real Scottish period right now, listening to The Snuts, Gerry Cinnamon and Peat and Diesel.
