I don't really fit the 'nudist' definition fully and completely. Other than swimming and/or sun tanning along side a body of water I do very little in the nude. That isn't to say I wouldn't like to do more, but my region's climate is not very cooperative for the majority of the year. As well, I do my best to live within the laws of the land whether I agree with them or not, so that that rules out radical nudism. However, I am open to interpretation as to when it is acceptable to be nude (ie, when it is reasonably unlikely that I would be encountered by nude intolerant people at a quiet swimming hole...). I do seize every opportunity to swim nude that I can. I love water sports, and I love to do them nude. Thus, a portion of every holiday that I take in warmer climates have some element of nude recreation involved (ie, at legal or historically established locales)

My wife: we have so many things in common, but my enthusiasm for nude recreation is not one of them. To meet her through this site would mean a lot to me for many different reasons. She has partaken in nudism while on holidays at far from home locations such as Little Beach, Hawaii and Brientenbush Hotsprings, Oregon but I think that she is too terrified of being 'discovered' by someone she knows closer to home, especially a workmate (she works for one of the largest employers in our region). She knows everything about my nudist ways except that I wish I could enjoy them more often by being able to enjoy them close to home as well.

Hockey (played at the University level 10 years ago), golf (I don't play as often as I like but I could probably still shoot in the high 70's), camping (not RVing... real camping), swimming (I can do this all day), mathematics (yes, this is a fun hobby to some!)

Talent is talent. My appreciation of music spans almost every genre when the best of the best are representing. That being said, I tend to own more rock, reggae and country music titles than pan flute or bag pipe because I often like to try and sing along (ie, squawk like crow).

Give me a plot that cannot be mocked! Like a good book, I like to spend time thinking about the ideas that I just witnessed and the implications of how those ideas interact with my adopted interpretation of 'anything and everything'. I suppose there is also room in my heart for especially talented performances by actors/actresses in bad movies, but that is because of my envy of their talents! In the case of blockbuster movies, I can be won over by the advancement of movie making technology and accept that I am simply being entertained, but an especially bad plot, or bad acting, can ruin even the most impressive cinematic experiences.

In general, I admire those people who have the strength and/or courage to make the world a more inclusive and/or better place for all to live. *update April 2014* I just read what I wrote as a profile nearly 3 years ago... and I didn't change a thing! In fact, I almost wanted to meet the person who wrote it!
