I'm happily married and we have great kids, whom we are raising in our Christian faith. Neither my wife nor I had a naked bone in our body, and would have never guessed we would enjoy being nude openly, especially because my textile upbringing left me with some shame associated with nudity. I had to get over this PDQ on our honeymoon, and this started my journey to becoming comfortable in my own skin. To make a long story short, we evolved from family nudism to eventually enjoy naturism outdoors, including social nudism, and we are AANR members. Now I love being nude whenever I can, and have done some things that I would have never expected I would do in a million years. I have become more comfortable with public speaking, partly by speaking to an audience completely nude. I have even sung solo on stage before an audience in the nude. I have attended a board meeting in the nude, and showed up for my birthday party in my birthday suit (everyone else wore clothes). I made a friend at a landed club whom I didnt see clothed until perhaps a year into our friendship. Never thought I would have an almost exclusively naked buddy; nor did I realize how much nudity promotes male bonding. I have driven a car and rode the train nude, and rode a camel in a kilt (which is like being nude). Would love to ride a horse, elephant, sailboat, and spaceship nude. Thankfully, my wife has been the best companion on this journey, and a wonderful blessing in so many ways. We are members of a beautiful family-friendly naturist resort in North Jersey, Rock Lodge Club, and spend a lot of time there in the summer. I also frequent a resort in Central Jersey. I'd like to meet year-round naturist friends closer to home, either in South or Central Jersey.

People in my region (south NJ near Phily and central NJ) and it would be a special treat to connect with fellow believers, as my Christian faith is inextricably linked to my worldview and joy in life.

Travel, music, shows, reading, film, playing music. I am a multi-instrumentalist. Most recent conquest: the mandola.

I like a lot of genres, but particularly classic rock, and within that, prog rock. Also like classical. One of my favorite musician/songwriters is Neal Morse, who brings a God-honoring spirit to his melodic prog rock style. Imagine a mix of Yes, Styx, Kansas, ELP, and Genesis, with badass chops but consistently thoughtful and/or uplifting lyrics. Favorite Beatle: George. Favorite ensemble (studio and live): Yes. Favorite non-Yes ensemble: Kansas (their new singer and latest album are sensational). Favorite singers: Jon Anderson, Loreena McKinnitt. Favorite singers who cannot actually sing: Mark Knopfler, Roger Waters, and Bob Dylan. Favorite drummer: 3-way tie between Neal Peart, Phil Collins, and Ringo. Favorite composers: Aaron Copland, Anton Dvorak, John Williams. Favorite 80s band I never knew at the time, but just discovered: Marillion.

Anything thought-provoking, regardless of genre, and I especially like drama, historical fiction, and Sci-Fi. An all-time favorite is Terry Gilliams classic, The Adventures of Baron Maunchausen. Loved the Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit, both Bladerunners, and anything adapted from Phillip K. Dick. One of the rare people who like and get both Star Trek and Star Wars (though I like adventure more than war most days of the week). Dune was a revelation.

People who stand against injustice. Prediction: this will get increasingly rare as our empty culture eradicates virtue in all its forms.
