About Chris
I am just looking to chat and make some new friends with similar interests first. The journey starts with the first step. I am separated. Have been for over 2 years. Before clicking add, chat with me a bit. (I may take a while to respond... you aren't being ignored) I believe the term is pansexual, or so I hear. I am attracted to nice people.
People to chat with, possibly make some new friends. Friendly, open minded, easy going and fun people. Yes. Im a single/separated male. I dont have cooties. I understand the stigma attached to single and separated males. People painting people like me with a broad brush in your profile or comments will be blocked/ignored. I have no time for bigots, intolerance or other forms of prejudice. Have a nice day.
several eclectic interests from arts to sports to travel and more.
music from the 70's to present. Almost anything except country music. I do prefer rock and retro.
Too many to pick just one. I do love nerdy cult-classics, sci-fi, fantasy, action, and brain teasers.
We can always use more heroes. The one no-one considers a hero is the one that silently battles their own demons, struggling every day yet somehow surviving to simply exist for those they care for. That selfless friend that will be there for you regardless of the war they are fighting with themselves. They are truly heroic and need a hero themselves. In pop culture, there are many that we could consider heroes. My favorite is from the Watchmen, Walter Kovacs (better known as Rorschach). No super power, struggling to understand the sanity of the world around him, seemingly a lone wolf battling the darkness of a bleak and twisted parallel timeline. His greatest asset, his anonymity, his mask. A cloth hood with a black and white pattern that changes constantly, resembling a Rorshach Ink Blot, concealing his true identity. Although he is small and gangly in stature, he's fast and tough as a coffin nail. His view on morality however is his one true weakness, seeing no greys. There is good and bad, and nothing in the middle. If he's stopping evil, he sees himself as good, regardless of how it's done. He can't understand why society hates Vigilantes, when the system is inherently flawed with corruption and greed. It leads to his demise sadly. In real life, there are many more heroes, too many to name.
