I've been in a rut for quite a while, so I'm trying to get back on my feet and figure out who I am at this stage. I'm looking forward to meeting new people with shared interests, and maybe even making a few new friends.

I'm interested in meeting open minded people with whom I can be myself, maybe even make a few new friends.

I'm very much a home body, so I like lots of solo activities- reading, gaming and such. I also have a long standing love of the natural world, and at one time was an avid martial artist too (though you wouldn't guess it now, judging by my belly!)

I love Folk metal and Symphonic metal, as well as traditional folk music and sometimes even a little electronica, if I'm in the right mood.

I love the big, epic adventure movies with a story to tell. Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Avatar, Last Samurai, etc...

My stepdad. I call him "The Lemming" sometimes, because he flings himself at his goals without necessarily paying attention to the cliff's edge, but I wish I could be half as brave and determined as him.
