About frenchophile
I am a well travelled and well educated man with a degree in French and German. I worked as a medical advertising copywriter and then as a charity fundraiser. I was married for 24 years and have now been divorced for too long and am looking for a companion to share my retirement with. The right lady will find me kind, loving and utterly devoted. I am a committed Christian and try to live out my faith each day. I have two adult sons and two grandchildren, all of whom I love to bits. I have been a nudist since my teens and enjoyed many family holidays at naturist centres abroad, especially France, with my ex-wife and sons. We were also members of a club in England for some years.
I would love to meet a lady who is as passionate about nudism as I am - there is nothing like feeling the sun and air on one's naked skin! Ideally - and it is only an ideal - she should be tallish and curvy, with blue, grey or green eyes and dark hair (but a brown-eyed blonde would be fine, too!). It would be wonderful if she shared my Christian faith as well. I would hope she would enjoy travelling to naturist centres in France, where the beaches, the climate, the cuisine and the people are all so lovely. Even better of course if she were French herself! (I speak the language fluently). I have an ambition to one day - sooner rather than later- own my own holiday home at a naturist centre in France. I hope that finds an echo with a lady out there somewhere!
I am extremely fond of cats (not dogs, though, sorry) and was devastated when my last one died - she had been a wonderful companion for 20 years. I also like watching most sports - went to the Olympic Games in Sydney and Athens and am a great fan of cryptic crosswords - hate to be beaten by the last clue!
Middle of the road tastes, I suppose. I love the 'good to be alive' feel of Abba's music - played loud of course! I also like modern jazz.
Not a film buff, but I do like epics ('Spartacus' and 'Ben Hur' were two of my favourites). I also like the humour of Peter Sellers in the 'Pink Panther' series and the films of Woody Allen. Any film starring Jean Simmons also gets my vote.
As an ex-runner myself, I am in absolute awe of and have colossal admiration for those double amputees whom I have seen running in marathons and other races. I also hugely admire Philippe Petit, the man who walked a high wire between the twin towers of New York in the Nineties.
