I've just moved here after 34 years in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area of Texas. Sarasota is a great town; lots to do, be it the beach, the arts, shopping or just meeting with friends. Fortunately, I do know people here, and there is an ice skating rink not too far away (yes, I still ice skate for exercise; no spins or jumps though). I spent two winters here prior to moving so I kind of know my way around. As I type this, I am still in the process of getting my new home arranged and pictures mounted on the walls, but it will all come together soon. I was born and raised in Stamford, Connecticut and moved to Texas at age 37, so I was a Broadway baby for many of those years.

I'm a theater person, musicals or comedies. Some classical or operas. Keeping fit is also a priority of mine. Hopefully, we would have some of these interests in common. Younger or older...age is a state of mind. I've always enjoyed nudity, but don't practice it as a way of life. If the setting is right, I will be naked. Oddly enough, there are few public beaches to be nude in Florida and be legal. But yet in Austin, Texas there is Hippie Hollow, which is a legal clothing optional park that is actually quite nice.

I think I've covered that.

Easy listening, light jazz, Broadway tunes, some classical (Tchaikovsky and Haydn). My current favorite popular vocalist is Linda Eder.

Rarely go to the movies. Have a large collection of older films that I enjoy, especially the James Bond series and the MGM musicals (oh, yes, anything with Judy Garland).
