My preference for nudity arose from intuition rather than rationalism, but having walked the road I am open to see some connections I would not have otherwise. I find it intensifies my encounters with nature, being invigorating and liberating, and I see the same effect with interactions with other people. It makes me feel fully alive. Brene Brown has established the linkage between vulnerability and authenticity beyond question, and the linkage between nudity and vulnerability seems obvious. We are so quick to assume a defensive position and it limits our opportunities for interaction and growth. We hate vulnerability and see it as weakness, but if we can face it and remain undefended rather than running and hiding or covering with a suit of armor, the potential for enlargement is enormous. This is terrifying and takes real courage, to present yourself just as you are, unafraid, and trusting that that is enough. This opens the door for you to be your true, authentic self rather than the contrived and acquired images that so many cultural forces would impose on us. rnrnI enjoy the many outdoor recreational opportunities here in Idaho and like flying over this beautiful scenery in my plane when I am not out hiking in it. I enjoy soaking in the many natural wilderness hot springs here in Idaho, nude of course. I have professional massage training and experience, but just do that for friends since I earn my living as an engineer.

I thrive on deep thought-provoking conversations that address the existential questions of being and meaning and purpose in life, and challenge me to change my way of being and thinking.
