Jolly publican/chef in beautiful Golden Bay NZ. Always wanted to retire here but have arrived a little early (had to leave my hometown Christhchurch after the earthquakes wrecked my Tavern) so am running an old country pub with a business associate - great fun! BTW 'bach' is kiwi slang for an old holiday shack, usually on the coast or a lakeside - puts me in mind of perpetual summer holiday, or maybe I am just crumbling architecture haha. who cares, enjoy what u have!
