I am here to meet new people, make friends, carry on intelligent conversation regardless of the topic matter. I enjoy almost any topic of conversation, but I try to avoid topics of politics and religion, these can be very sensitive issues for many people. I also read, watch movies, and enjoy music. I don't get out as much as I would like to. When I have some time I enjoy a quick trip to Las Vegas. I am an avid runner, working on a marathon training program right now. Anyone up for a nice long run?

There are too many to list, and for a variety of differing reasons. Everyday is a great day to meet someone new. What an interesting journey to have spent ones life meeting someone new every day. I hope to meet a lot of new and interesting people on this site.

After 30 years in the military I am not sure how to answer this one. I have met my share of "Heroes", but anyone can be a hero, in many different situations, doesn't always have to end up with someone giving up their life for another, those are the stores popularized by the media. I don't think I have anymore heroes to meet, but day by day, I will aspire to be a better person and a better hero to those around me.
