To the general public, I appear to be of average build, height, and weight. One might notice that I don't have any piercings or any tattoos. However, what isn't evident to most people and is visible to the nudist community is the fact that I shave most of my body, everything except for my arms and my chest which I keep trimmed. From my general observation of other male nudists, I am not alone in my desire to rid my body of unwanted hair. For me, not having hair creates a sense of being even more nude and I enjoy the clean feeling I derive from being free of body hair. As an added benefit, I've found that applying suntan lotion seems easier without all the excess hair. So, what first impressions am I making by shaving areas that most men don't shave? Does anyone even notice? Is this practice unusual enough to make me standout? I don't think it does, but maybe I'm wrong. I do it because I want to, not as a form of expression or to gain attention. Perhaps future chapters of my life story will include additional examples of self-expression like tattoos and piercings. No matter what it is, I'm sure that I will be accepted by nudists wherever I go.
