Good night Irene

Well, we made it through the hurricane here without any serious damage. I did find a small leak in the roof, but it doesn;t look too bad. Some downed treees in the neighborhood, and one of th enieghbors had water back up into his basement in spite of a sump pump (looks like the drain wasn't properly set up). The power went out at my in-laws, but lots of people across the state lost it (several hundred thousand according to PSEG). We still have to worry about flooding over the next few days, but in my area we got off pretty light. Our thoughts and prayers are with those who suffered serious losses.
