private pms

Firstly I must apologise to all the genuine lovely people who i chat to in TN and thank them for the laughs along the way. But from now on my private pm function is closed to everyone trying to pm me. People i know were respectful of the fact I asked them to chat in the room but some never know when to give up. I was introducing my partner to chat he has always been wary and suspicious of the room thing so he was sat with me this afternoon watching the room. When someone I knew private pm'd me i asked them politely to chat in the room which happened but some were from complete strangers. When i ignored these without opening them he got suspicious and it caused an almighty row cos he thought i was hiding something from him. You all know what i say in the room isn't much different from what i say in private so lets just leave it at that and keep it in the room from now on...if i had my way the private pm function would go cos to be honest if you wanna say something in private go somewhere else ! It's a chat ROOM and i go there to chat in the room...leave me in peace. Again this isn't aimed at everyone and again i apologise to the ones who matter ..you know who you are and if i'm wanting a private chat you'll find me logged into msn or yahoo where you are free to buzz me if i'm around.
