Where is the Nudist Gender Equality

I have no problem with men; however, I am not gay and my best friendships over the years have generally been with women. I also just find women more interesting. Because of this I find this site somewhat frustrating. Too few women and what women are on the site are often in a defense mode from too much attention. With that in mind I decided to dig into the demographics of the True Nudist population, and what I have observed on this website is that the ratio of men to women ranges from 11 to 1 to 14 to 1 depending on what subgrouping you look at. For example, if you look at the total number of people who have signed up on the site, it is 14:1. If you look at the group which has logged on over the past year and have posted a picture, it is 11:1. It seems like more men get bored and leave. The ratio of couples to women is about 1:1 across the breakdowns with generally a few more women on the site. The one place where the ratios are blown way out of the water is for certified members. This option is not popular with women; the ratio is 74:1 men to women. There are about four times as many certified couples as women. In my associated forum post I asked two questions: (1) is this reflective of the general nudist population; and (2) if it is not, why is the male:female ratio so skewed on the site. Regarding #1, I have not visited a lot of clothing optional locations, but the two I have, have been contrasting. It may depend on when you are there, but Blacks Beach, San Diego, is probably greater than 10:1 men to women. However, the hot springs I visit has more nude men than women, but the ratio is closer to 1:1 to 2:1. The men are generally bolder, more likely to be walking around naked, but naked bodies in the springs are more balanced. As for why more women arent on the site, I can only guess, but I am sure it has to do with that 11:1 ratio and that a lot of the male surplus thinks this is a sex site.
