So here is the short list I've compiled for moderators of the chat room. If you would like to suggest someone, or a reason why a certain candidate shouldn't be included please respond here (Please try to be polite)TallSwimmerAndyBrucejackieinozozzietazzRabbitnBunnywillnsueSnugglebunnytxag_1975

Very well said Ruddie, I feel things went well in chat tonight.  Many people expressed how much nicer and more active it was.

Jackie, I saw it going on and at first thought you didnt realize what was happening but then realized you were ignoring him. You handled it better than I would have. Hopefully this will send a message to the ones who insist on breaking the rules.
Well what started out as a delightful day in chat certainly went downhill very quickly when I was subjected to a a good hours worth of abuse by a certain member, who I will refrain from naming. Not once did I respond to his vitriolic attack, I sat back and took it on the chin.....BUT....eventually I banned him for 24 hours, I am hoping that by then he will have cooled down enough to act and behave like a responsable adult. I have sent a copy of his attack on me to TT1 He now has the following posted below his profile name: jACKIE IN oZ sHOULD BE VBOTED OUT ..
Very well done Jackie.  You have illustrated precisely the best qualities of moderation that I wrote of in my previous post on this thread. The 'badge' (or uniform) is often perceived as a 'target' for those of a 'dissaffected' personality - the person wearing it becomes the focus for all the unresolved anger and resentment stored within the one who is so 'dissaffected'.Most often this anger and resentment has nothing to do with the immediate situation but is a build up of issues from other sources - thus it is a case of 'transference'. The dissaffected person feels impotent to directly address the cause of their issues so seeks to alliviate their frustration by inappropriately directing their vitriol at a target that they perceive as having no way of negatively affecting their real life - a 'maladapted coping stratagy' if you will - without real consequnces.Such behaviour is often considered to be the mark of bullies, internet trolls, aggressively argumentative people, social inadequates, fanatics and indicative of certain other criminogenic activities.Kick and temporary ban is a most measured response and a most laudable decision. As for your 'aside' (and I do not know if this would work on TN but does work in other groups) it may be possible to view both chatrooms by simply creating a second identity (such as Jackie2) then using two browsers (such as Internet Explorer for one and Firefox for the second) and logging into TN using both with a different ID on each.  This may allow you to have two chat room windows open simultaniously.Love n stuff Rudie x

Hi all.. as I sit here and read all that has been said and responses to my posts.. the one thing that is missing and is sad is the LACK of communication to members of TN as to what is happening after the completion of nominees
this has been the process I have seen thus far and was happy with the communication regarding these.....
    1. We were asked to nominate or nominate people who we thought would make good moderators..
    2. Next we saw a possible  list of who were being considered
3, We were told that "things/strategies" were being put in place over the weekend for this to proceed

Now.. this is where the communication fell off ..
next we go into chat and there are the moderators.. already in room!!
No communication to the members at large  it was now  fait accompli
No explanation /post of the Boundaries the moderators work within..

is this fair to not only moderators however also the members .. it does not make for a happy community if there is LACK of upfront communication and it causes  disharmony within all  .. this happens for all people not just chatters..
I support the strategies however PLEASE give us updated to the steps being taken...

    Cheers yours in nudism
About 3 days ago, someone who is not named on the list said he had been made a moderator. He displayed a very bad attitude in the chat that day, threatening to ban a couple of people from the site for speaking their mind. Since he is not on the list, he probably was just saying he had been named  moderator when in fact, he had not been. So to avoid such confusion, I agree with some of the others that the moderators should have a designation to verify their position, such as suggested to have their name end with "mod".
Moderater's names show at the top of the room list in red. They are clearly designated.

Finally I am responding to the original post.  I was at Gunnison Beach, the day that this thread started, and I got home late at night and didn't check the forum.  I have taken the time to read all posts.  I respond to some of the posts. I know the following four from the original list, as I have found them to be personable and pleasant.  I think they will all be fair.
jackieinozRabbitnBunnySnugglebunnytxag_1975
In addition, I know Jeeps and think she would be a fine addition.  Concern of spouses of moderators has been raised, but I think both Jen and Steve would be excellent. I am NOT worried about it becoming a police state.  You have nothing to worry about as long as you are polite and use common sense, plus plus use cam properly (if you use a cam).  Nevertheless, I think that TT! should give some guidelines to the moderators, specifying mainly how they should moderate.  What they are to moderate is contained in the chatroom rules; however I would add to that rules list don't harrass the ladies.  Whether they have nude profile shots should be the decision only of each moderator. It is unfortunate that a stink was raised over RabittnBunny inadvertently clicking the wrong name.  Mistakes will happen.  Now that there are moderators, I now am more inclined to participate in chat.  There has been a hiatus in my use of the chat room.  It is good to hear that the chat room has been cleaned up.

Looks like a good group to me.  I've had the pleasure to chat with some on that list or exchang posts on these boards.  I would also agree to adding Jeeps if she's up to it.  Lexia_Ram is also a pleasant soul who chats here often, I'm sure she wouldmake a fine moderator (if she agrees to it).
    Regards all,
    Mike
thanks for the info, but you didn't have to serve it up with so much attitude. Perhaps it's already in the works to make chatters aware that the red names at the top of the list are the moderators.
Sorry, Nudistbuddy...attitude was not intended. I responded quickly as I was rushing off to do something else.  I should have taken a few more seconds and said: Moderater's names show at the top of the room list in red. When you log into the chatroom you'll see the names in red, clearly designating mods, if there are any in the room at that time.   Jen

Thank you Bullet and Catbird for your kind words.

    Here's the most recent update:
Moderator's are no longer red, they are bold green and still appear at the top of list.

I personally feel there is enough  moderators for now every one had time to  nominate or be nominated  there are more then enough to cover  USA  & UK....  and also a couple from down under... the number is a good balance perhaps someone from Europe but that is all otherwise we will be OVER moderated and that does stilt  flow of chat etc... lets give them all a chance  to see how it goes... and give  constructive feed back to TT1 on the process .. I stil have to say it should be one person of a "name' not the couple under that name but that is for  TT1  to sort out....
    cheers
I find that willnsue are kind of rude and thats not right for a moderator to be.
This is sue answering on behalf of will and sue. Would refer anyone to bulletisbacks reply to this. As a couple we have a choice who we speak to on a personal level and when. We would never be rude to anyone whether personally or as moderators. When asked to personal message with this member we simply said no, and because we are moderators did not want to get into discussion about it in main chat. We therefore left the room to avoid any conflict, no rudeness intended. I am offended however that someone who will not take no for an answer, chooses to post this issue in main forum as a reflection of our moderating. We are a decent couple who love this site and are doing the very best job we can to keep this site relaxed and friendly for all.

I agree, Tx, the private messages get to be too much.  I prefer the whispers. And as a moderator I don't feel that I should completely disable the pm's in case someone really needs to let me know about a problem they are experiencing.

I also feel that the moderators that have been chosen are good moderators and well chosen. And I'm sure TT1 has a long list (he did call this the short list) for when and if chat needs more or when and if a current moderator decides they no longer want the responsibility.
I am a mod and my "better" half is not..we both have seperate log in's so at least there will be no confusion with us. :)
We're both moderators on a couples profile, but have now created an "off-duty" account so that we can both be in the chatroom at the same time if we wish.  When we're both there one is off duty and the other is on. From what I know of Willnsue (wonderful moderators) they are usually both at the keyboard together. Jen

I have seen a great improvement in the chatroom since the mods were introduced. There has been much less innapropriate behavior and much less confrontation. I still fail to see a negative side to this, if everyone is just in there to chat and have fun then what does it matter if there are mods anyway. If you are not doing anything wrong then you dont need to worry about who is where. Just have fun.

I do not know how many mods there currently are, but it would be nice to have more. There always seems to be pervs wanking in the chat room. I flag them but there usually is not a mod in the room.
