Interesting development...the council thought the beach belong to them, well they found out the NSW national park authority is in fact the owner, and they have decided to no longer support clothing optional on it!
A very sad day for Naturism in Australia!

@Jorgerine - What would be the best beach in Wollongong to be proclaimed clothing optional? any suggestions? once we identify a proper site, we can the start an online petition then when we have enough signature we can liaise with the council...

JorgiOct 28, 2024Hard to say, but I would start with the northern end of Corrimal Beach, or the southern end of Coniston. I am sure there are other suggestions.
