The comments on a lot of pictures uploaded by our fellow nudists are very sexual and I personally find that very disturbing that these people are allowed to be on this site.
Like if you want to do that there are other websites for that please dont connect naturism/ nudism with sex.
These are 2 very different things
Nudism NOT EQUAL TO sex.
If our fellow nudists are being like this How can we think the rest of the world to think otherwise?
Please post your views and opinions on this.

Disturbing on more than one level. I am bombarded with friend requests and notifications that my profile is liked. Most are from people, both male and female, that indicate they want a sexual connection or a visit to thier website. I flag them all, but note that many have many likes from other members of this site.

AmarShahApr 23, 2022I completely agree with you Akash. Few people behave ridiculously while on cam. I have experienced this while on personal meet up when a guy asked me for some sexual favour. I somehow ran away from his house.

SteveApr 23, 2022People do put up more or less sexual comments on my photos sometimes. It's a little annoying when I've specifically put the pic up to attract comment on whatever aspect of our farm work or whatever that's in the pic. (Caption: "Packing Herbs for Market." Comment: "NIce [name body part]". But, oh, well. I sort of take it as an attempt at a compliment, and let it go. But I realize that as an older man I'm not overwhelmed with this stuff - I assume it's way more tiresome if you' re younger, vastly more so if you're female. And I haven't had any comments that go beyond the pic and get into fantasy or suggestion. I suppose people do, and that's a whole different thing.ReactReply - MEMemberApr 23, 2022
stick around for a while and all the idiocy tends to roll off you like water om a ducks back. You will find some worthy content elsewhere here.

It is a long standing problem that is unlikely to change due to the significant number of people who are on this site for the expressed purpose of finding a sexual encounter.ReactReply - ST

I doubt these folks commenting on women's profiles have the social skills to manage that, or they'd get that they are being inappropriate. More likely they are on here tofantasizeabout a sexual encounter. It's kind of sad.ReactReply - BR
BryantApr 24, 2022I do a lot of flagging and blocking for the "JoeGay" and "JaneFollowMe Here" that message and try to friend me. It is like the weirdos at Walmart, you can't stop them from coming in, but you can ignore them.

Agree with you. But this website also needs some oomph factor or u can say spice. So it's part and parcel of the game.
My take on this is like we go to supermarket and there hell lot of things stacked to alure you. But you choose only those things which you want or require.
I guess same applies here tooReactReply - MEMemberApr 26, 2022
I have been noticing this for a long time and wanted to share this with everyone out there and find out how you people view this. We all have different definition of nudism, and everyone thinks his/her version is the right one. Addressing to your problem, I think "blocking" is the option available to us. Block and move on. We can't change the mentality of others. But peace of mind is essential. So...ReactReply

JimOct 28, 2022I agree with you. For true nudist it is not about sex. It bothers me for people to comment on someones body parts. I think that is so inappropriate.

Stone AndyNov 20, 2022
Nudists are sexual creatures too, but are there boundaries? ... To conclude my point. Many here are here for perspective and answers to, perhaps long suppressed questions. Trying to sort out what they feel, where they fit. Give them a break! There is a tension between "sexual creatures" and "boundaries" without one definitive answer. I wish this site could live in that tension to engage better with the younger generations.ReactReply - PA

I believe nudity and sex are two separate and unrelated concepts. I believe all humans are sexual -- including nudists. I believe textiles conflate nudity and sex to the point that they believe the two are the same thing. I'm not certain that nudist sites need to cater to the false understandings of textiles. The image and posting guidelines for this site need to be clearly stated. The image and posting guidelines for this site need to be consistently enforced.ReactReply - TR

JohnNov 21, 2022The problem of inappropriate comments, like the parallel problem of fake female profiles, is simply one of moderation and enforcement. This is an expensive process that on sites like Facebook and Twitter is paid for by advertising revenue.
Nudist forums will never get that level of income from subscriptions alone and very few nudist sites carry much advertising so all the moderation has to be done by unpaid volunteers.
You only have to look at the problems Elon Musk is starting to have with Twitter to see that the problems we have on this site are relatively mild.ReactReply - EA

Heres an easy *pass / fail* test for pictures: if you were to insert a current TN picture in one of the girly magazines ( Penthouse / Hustler) that often adorn old style automotive shops and the page is obviously well read, it probably doesnt belong on TN. Now, obviously there are a lot of variations but you get the idea. Anybody else have any comparators?

When your nude or talking about being nude, sexuall context will appear in any conversation. It's just par for the course. How you handle it is a reflection on your maturity. I have been naked a lot of times in both large and small groups and discussions have turned sexuall in one way or another. I never considered it to be a big deal. A bunch of people getting naked in front of each other takes a lot of confidence, if you can't handle a little sexuall discussion and comments then maybe nudism isn't truly for you. You have to be comfortable in your own skin and your circle of friends

SteveJan 1, 2023You've clearly set expectations for how others should behave. Who is accountable for nurturing and guiding them or are they left to their own tools and resources?
Trying to fix. manage, and control how another person thinks ] behaves ] believes can't be done in a single post. What are you doing to preserve or change the culture for the betterment of all?

Stone AndyJan 2, 2023
What are you doing to preserve or change the culture for the betterment of all?
Great question! We need to foster a positive spirit of nudism. Will we always be aligned? No. But an attitude of empathy and compassion goes a lot further. Two negatives won't make a positive. We lead by example. Thank you!ReactReply - ST
StuJan 2, 2023Unfortunately there are (and always will be) a lot of people (mostly guys) who are looking for sexual encounters and they don't differentiate between sex and the practice of being naked.
Just look at almost any nude beach. There will be a percentage of people who are there only to look for sexual encounters. It's not about being naked, but for them it's a gateway to getting it on with someone and getting off.
Then of course you get the spammers on here who register fake accounts and send you messages to "check out my pics at www. --- .com".
Funny how every one of them has their pics on the same web address!
I just ignore all of this and focus on why I am here.
Just like when I go to a nude beach, I don't pay any attention to the guys walking past playing with their cocks.ReactReply
