I have been noticing this for a long time and wanted to share this with everyone out there and find out how you people view this.
The comments on a lot of pictures uploaded by our fellow nudists are very sexual and I personally find that very disturbing that these people are allowed to be on this site.
Like if you want to do that there are other websites for that please dont connect naturism/ nudism with sex.
These are 2 very different things
Nudism NOT EQUAL TO sex.
If our fellow nudists are being like this How can we think the rest of the world to think otherwise?
Please post your views and opinions on this.

Im totally understanding you and agree. When Im at a nudist resort, we dont talk about the size of penises or breast sizes. Never have I had some dude walk up to me and say Im sexy. Thats a good way to get knocked out. Yet people freely do that from their keyboard at home. My rule for online interaction is to not say something I wouldnt say face to face. And if you do say those things in person, there is something uncivilized about you.

Resort and online conduct are apples and oranges. I find it easy to ignore sexual comments and friend requests because the posters fail to engage with me. Conduct at mixed nudist resorts appears quite controlled, especially given their discriminatory policies. My experience at Haulover and Hippie Hollow were positive where people seemed to be calm and respectful. But on the other hand, it tends to be easier to be that way around men who aren't photogenic.

In general I find it strange how quick nudists are to judge others, but I've never read anything which has given careful consideration to how to behave. For example, what can you tell a new nudist visitor about how to look at others? The two extremes are to stare at your feet or the other's genitals. What are sound guidelines in between? Who's defining the solutions? Of course the right attitude is important, but concrete guidelines from ANR or TNS would be helpful.

My feeling is that nudity is natural. Act like youve been there before. Its sophomoric to make something titillating that doesnt need to be as such. Its just how we are. Its really not hard to figure out. You dont even need a written policy. Its just standard conduct.

As long as resorts choose to discriminate against single men for being penis holders without giving them the benefit of doubt to enter the premise, a code of conduct would be a better alternative.

Judgement coming from every direction here - personally, I feel no need for any guidelines more than a quick read-through of the rules of conduct at any nudist place I visit. Respect for everyone is likely the most important part of being socially nude, and that means respecting their attitude as well as their physical person, up to and including how close you get to them. If anyone needs guidelines as to where they keep their eyes when interacting with another nudist, they'd better learn some important bare lessons sooner than later. ALWAYS talk to someone's face, look into their eyes as any verbal communication occurs; show them total respect by not taking more than a momentary glance at any part of them before setting the gaze on the part of them which is interactive in the social sphere - their head.

A person's outward beauty ought have nothing to do with where one's eyes rest. A lack of control in such interactions shows a general disregard for everyone involved. It would be good to invest in some very dark or mirrored sunglasses if the perceived beauty of someone is too much to control yourself from taking an extended gawk at anything below their chin. Any appreciation for someone's physical beauty in a social nude situation should come complete with the assumptive rule that they are not being turned into an object of lust.

Yeah but my point is how men treat other men here like they are chatting on Twitter. They would never say those things in person. It doesnt matter if it is a resort or not. I try to have the Integrity to never be a keyboard warrior, or pervert for that matter. If some dude walked up to me and asked about the girth of my penis, like happened this morning, I wouldnt put up with that. Its like a bunch of grade schoolers. Id ask them to grow up! Unfortunately, men do that to women here too. No respect!

There is no one there to correct them face to face for their foul language and bad behavior. In person a lot of these men would get their jaws realigned for some of the rude and sexual comments they make towards others.

i agree.....Nudism is not exhibitionism or sexual...posting erections put you in the same vein as a swinger or someone trying to tittilate or excite others.

First things first. Most of the people who join this site have never had a social naturist/nudist interaction. They are curious but haven't been to a beach or club and because the owners don't monitor and regulate the site a lot of poor behaviour is allowed to stand and therefore seems acceptable to newbies who are just modelling themselves after what they see. Have you taken a look at some of the groups lately? I haven't posted a nude photo here in more than a decade because of the body-part-specific comments my photos received. I'm sure the commenters thought they were being complimentary but instead they just made me feel icky in a way I never do at a live venue. My attendance on this site is rare these days but there are still a lot of good people amongst the crowd that I enjoy chatting with. I have never recommended this site to anyone, though, and never will.

Your points are spot on. Monkey see, monkey do. People who arent really nudists dont understand.
First things first. Monkey see, monkey do. And who are the "true nudists"? A lot of them seem to make up shit as they go, usually in negative judgment of others. For that reason, for the hypocrisy and prejudice, I'll call myself pants casual rather than nudist. Maybe it's the result of my Swedish culture of origin which is nude-friendly and sex-friendly without associating the two as one. It's Puritanism to say if nudity doesn't equal sex, nudity must exclude anything perceived as sensual or sexual.

Puritanism is about extremes, either denying or hyper-focusing on sex. It's about me having my freedom and others needing to be responsible to protect me from them. When a demographic group defined by having a penis is banned for the potential of another group not having a penis being offended by something minor like a spontaneous erection, that's egregious behavior -just as unjustifiable as walking around and flouting a well-curated erection. Monkey see, monkey do. When people's only focus is on others' behavior without looking in the mirror, it's all a zoo.

I very much agree with the original poster on this. We are all human and most of us have needs but there are plenty of dedicated sites for that sort of thing. We need to keep some spaces wholesome to provide a space where we can just go about our daily lives in the way we feel most at ease.

If nudity is an purely erotic thing for you that's fine but please recognise that for most of us it's just about us being comfortable and we don't want unsolicited comments anymore than a textile on the street would.

The false dichotomy of wholesome, at ease vs. purely erotic is exactly the puritanical extremism I refer to. I personally find both dysfunctional and disconcerting, and from that thinking stems the disrespectful comments.

It is just plain rude to make an explicitly sexual comment on someones innocuous photo. Saying nice (body part) is one thing, saying I want to do (insert sexual act here) to it is taking it too far. Seriously, whatever your experience of nudism, saying this to a stranger in a public forum is inappropriate.

If our fellow nudists are being like this How can we think the rest of the world to think otherwise? Please post your views and opinions on this.
I agree. Naturism or nudism not equal. People need some help with this in some nations of This Earth. Most of the activity on this site is just sexual when this isn't every category of naturism nudist here or in most places. To the American naturists, and to several of the other naturists and nudists in the world, some of it really goes too far here. Some places really are just more sexualized places than other parts of the world. This is just the biproduct of the factory economy over industrializing people away from virtues. This is a problem for everyone trying to "dip their toes" in the "ocean" of naturism. If people go off the deep end too fast, it goes too far.
The comments on a lot of pictures uploaded by our fellow nudists are very sexual and I personally find that very disturbing that these people are allowed to be on this site.
Of course comments on pictures should be flagged. Too far gone can go really far if one is online. My preference would be for only the poster/owner of the photos to flag the comments on their photos on this website as "spam comments" on their photo sections. There really are some nasty people that may not be well received if the comments can not even be flagged by the poster/owner of the photos to flag the comments. The online world really can be dangerous, though it sometimes can be manageable. That is why moderation is key to bringing the amount of harm to a reduction of how bad it could be before escalation.
very much agree with the original poster on this. We are all human and most of us have needs but there are plenty of dedicated sites for that sort of thing. But, most of us recognize that for most nudists in this website, and many across America and the World, it is really just a way to get more comfortable and that "unsolicited comments" are not wanted "any more here than a textile on the street would want." And that many would dislike it. And that unsolicited sex, or begging for sex unsolicited, to some people, would be very bad in many people's minds. I do not think this website is a dating site, but too many people make it out to be. The fact they made this "social media site" ambiguous or "tolerant" is rather odd for an American site, because some American nudists are derived from late 19th century French and British naturist traditions or otherwise new-age postmodern ones. I see it as a flaw if people never read your profile. Otherwise they cannot read because they are a computer program that is not a real profile of a real person.
Seriously is a true statement. Most people in most countries do not want to just do it in public no matter where you go outside Canada, Australia Britain, New Zealand and the E.U. Even in those countries there might be some people who feel very uncomfortable constantly if they were constantly solicited for sex if they were already in a relationship that had a partner and children, which probably makes life difficult in areas where that happens. Like, sometimes it really is good to just be a normal person sometimes. Not everywhere is Denmark or Copenhagen. Not everywhere is Stockholm or is like Sweden its country. All that I have said only means that you don't do things the same way in every country, and we shouldn't expect Denmark to be fully the same as African nations or the same as all countries in Asia. Those are mostly different places, but African nations makes up more of the world than Denmark. Asian nations make up more of the world than Denmark. Look up the population of Earth then the population of Sweden. Both are declining, but one is much larger. Point being is this, that richest northern and Western European nations are special because they are the exception and not always the norm. Many nations are poorest nations, with about 41 countries being called a "Least developed country in Africa, the Caribbean, and Asia. Go to Wikipedia and look up "Least Developed Countries." Dozens of them exist. 40 out of 195 nations around this planet here called Earth.
