Any thoughts? Someone i met on here is trying to blackmail me today. User cutedebbie26. I told them to fuck off, they threatened to send my pics to people I know. Geez. What should I do about this? I stopped communicating with them immediately, I don't play that game. Silly though, my pics are public anyway

They might know who you know on here, but sending your nude pics to someone on a naturist site is a bit like taking coals to Newcastle...!!!

I got some e-mail spam the other week with a similar blackmail threat - "I found your pics online" sort of thing, "I know who you are..." Completely random, they have no idea of course. But if they send out enough of them, I suppose someone will bite. In a way, it's a so-twentieth-century concern; so many people conduct their sex lives online now that it's barely remarkable. The worst thing about it is not money blackmail, it's the use of such material in personal vendettas - where the victim and perpetrator know one another and thus the perpetrator has access to the victim's network.

Tammywiliams is another fraud who blocked me because I exposed her B.S. Her days are numbered on this site as she does not live in New York and is only here to sell bitcoin investment crap. TT2 needs to delete and ban this fraud immediately. Hopefully TT2 will return soon and get rid of this cancer on this site.

    1) Know that blackmail threats are unlikely to be followed up upon
    2) Recognize that TN is an archaic dysfunctional site which can't be trusted with full body and face pix, etc.
    3) Be selective in making friends with people who are verified have pix and a history you read about
    4) Be suspicious and aware that anything else is likely spam
    5) Expect people who want to be your friend want to engage with you for who you are. That means they communicate specific to you, not lines which can be sent to anyone
    6) Take time to get to know people over a range of topics and issues
    7) Don't send your personal email or private info, and stick to communication that doesn't reveal your email or phone
    8) Understand that there are a lot of great people on sites like this, but the majority are not
    9) Be willing to share personal struggles that make you human and vulnerable without revealing too much to see others' empathy in their response.
    10) Be positive and patient.
    Good luck!

I know of this scam being used on several college aged guys. Pretty girl hits them up on social media. Then they move to SC or Kik. The girl sends her nudes and asks for his. He sends them and even video of a bate session. Then a man contacts him asking for money or they will send to all his contacts on social media. Usually closing their social media account stopped it . In one instance the guy had just bought a car and the financing agency got an email saying I have pics of him. They really didnt care - its obvious that it is foreign actors who dont understand us well. I know of one instance the guys dick pic was sent to all his friends. Not being a TN it was embarrassing but he lived. Police wont do anything and its apparent pretty frequent. Seems like a lot of guys like sending their dick pics out! Imagine that !!

There are suckers that fall for these things all the time, why do you think they keep coming back. If we ignore them, block them, report them, they will eventually go away as it's not profitable for them.

The number of fools who support the scammers by sending money far outnumbers those who ignore, delete, and report the scammers. I have reported scammers to admin to no avail. Sadly this site has a cancer called scammers who continue to grow and spread like a cancer in this site.

I have been criticized by a few people on this site and other social media sites for not being "verified." While verification on most sites requires that one send a copy of one's identification (driver's license, passport, etc.), NONE of these sites has been able to tell me how they or their service providers will safeguard my identifying information (I've asked for information on the standards they use for data protection, but have received no responses). Yet, ALL of these sites experience intrusion by bad actors. My advice to all on here - be careful.

She tried to Sextort me as well. I turned her into the FBI tip line. Name, phone number, location and a snap of her threat. She stopped contacting me.

She pulled up where I work, my ex, my kids in the threat note. I didn't hear from her again after sending her the submitted information from the FBI.

I've been hit up by a number of 31 year old women (are they women? Maybe someone with a few pictures they got off the internet acting as a woman). I'm 70. Cmon! What's a major babe want with an old guy? All of them new members, uncertified, one cute clothed picture. Many direct you to a site or want to tell you about bitcoin. I get it if you are using sex and the internet to make money. Oldest game around. I guess there are enough old guys that fall for this grift that they keep doing it. In the meantime it's polluting the site by moving it from a nudist site to a sex site. Plenty of sex sites available for you to waste your money on. Lets keep this one as a social site around nudity.

Since the management is so dysfunctional and only gets worse, I'm not sure if the process works. But if you've been around for a while and have contributed that by itself is verification to me.

There will be those silly few who so need to believe a young nudist woman would be interested in them that they do get conned. If they joined this site hoping to attract a young woman then they deserve all the get. I do agree the site does little to discourage the fakes and scammers.

She is nothing short of a con artist who lies and deceives. If most people are clued and can spot this scammer, then why do so many 'friend' her? Why does it take so long for admin to ban this scammer if they even ban at all???

What ever option you choose, it does nothing in reality. Its just a number. If I see someone with a thousand friends I dont think they are popular, I think they have nothing better to do that send out requests to get that number higher. Some people just click accept, dont know the person sending the request and will never have any interaction with them. The member you mentioned probably tried to con a thousand to hook one. Thats what I meant by most people being clued up. Thats the opposite of most people sending them money.

Unfortunately we will never know how many send money or fall for any part of a scam because no one will admit to being scammed here. This site is full of scammers, fakes, frauds, phonies and there is also a very weak if non existent attempt to ban these con artists from the site. The problem grows and the long term good members continue to leave........

I, along with so many others, don't waste time much here anymore. I have reported some blatant abusers of this site with no response. It is pointless to keep reporting the same people over and over again when nothing ever happens. The forum is actually pretty dead now as so many of us either seldom come here or have left the site. Sad but inevitable when the site appears to be more or less abandoned by admin.
Block and report. Do they have any of your identifying information?
Report to whom??? I have sent 12 messages to tt2 over the past week and she has yet to read one of them. Reporting is a waste of time. There is either no one to report anything to or those in charge just do not care. Why do anything anymore when those in charge can keep on milking the dying cash cow until it is dead then no one will really care.
