Nov 25, 2012Hi my wife and i are thinking of a trip to the US for 2 or 3 weeks and would like some advice on the best places to visit ie naturist clubs- resorts , beaches . Maybe staying a few days in each place as we would like to see as much of the country as poss in the time we have. thanks Jim.

FlokieNov 25, 2012Do you have other plans made for your trip? I'd hate to recommend a place in California if you are going to a wedding in Boston and looking for things in that area. Do you have a preference for a beach, rustic club, hot spring or resort? What is your daily budget? Will you have a car?
If this is a "naturist" trip and the idea is to just visit a number of clubs then Florida or California might be good options but maybe you are planning to incorporate Broadway productions or historical sites in your travels? We really can't be much help without a bit more to go on but I think you'll find lots of good suggestions once you do give us a better idea of your plans.ReactReply - DE
DesertRatNov 25, 2012The winter weather severely limits the outdoor venues you can visit this time of year. You are basically limited to Florida and theGulf coast, and some parts of Texas, Arizona and California. If you know the exact places you are planning on visiting try contacting non-landed clubs in those areas. They may be having indoor, winter activities that you might be invited to attend.

Cheri Donna DawsonNov 25, 2012Cypress Cove is the Cadillac of nudist resorts on the East Coast, It's in the Kissimmee/Orlando, Florida east coast.
On the west coast of the US, there is Laguna del Sol near Sacramento, CA as well as Glen Eden near Ontario, CA. Oaklake Trails in Okla. and Willamettans in Oregon. In TX, I would recommend Natural Horisun and Emerald Lake in the Houston area. Remember the US spans a great large piece of geography. The temperatures/climates are different across all of it.

SteveNov 26, 2012If Hawaii's on your itinerary, Little Beach on Maui is by far the best bet. As others have said, the country is huge. What's on your route so far? What's your point of entry? Will you be flying/rent-a-car, distance driving, or rail-ing around? (I have neighbors who once spent two or three weeks driving across the country, inquiring at each town where the nearest swimming hole was. (Most of them were not c/o.) We would like to make it 75% naturist trip if it was possible , We would hire a car or a mobile home , we both like beaches parks and clubs ,one idea was to travel down the west coast from San Francisco an spend a couple of days at each stop . We both love music and would be good to take in a concert or festival while we are there . Still just an idea and keeping our options open ,all and any suggestions will be taken on board. As it would be our first visit to the US and staying for 2 or 3 weeks we don't want to spend allot of time in cities , there would be so much we would want to see but obviously with a country that size its impossible . If we liked our first trip there we could make it a yearly trip and visit different parts each visit .
