  Not all the beaches mentioned are legal, and you could be arrested or just ticketed.  One mentioned on the site is Assageague, MD - not legal.  There are efforts in getting it to return to c/o status, but it's going to take time and patience.  If you're in that area, there is a beach cleanup coming up in a week or so.
