Where would you choose to live?

If you could just up and move to any place in the US, where would you choose to live and why? I'm a 55 year old single male that may be on the verge of making a life changing choice. The opportunity presents itself, and there's nothing holding me where I am. Torn between thoughts of enough land to be nude anytime outdoors, or close to a resort / beach.

IF I were young I would want to live in Manhattan. I lived there for a short time in the 50's. I love NYC.

I would buy a home at Cypress Cove in Orlando. You can be nude all the time, plenty of activities, and close to entertainment, beaches, etc.

So you would choose to live at a resort over having a place private enough to be nude whenever you liked, without the addition fees and rules associated with a resort...thinkin more along the lines of HOA rules and such...

now that sounds like a good plan, but of course, finding homes for sale in a neighborhood within your budget, size range plus near other nudist...seems almost too much to ask...

northwest Arkansas or western North Carolina.   I have vacationed in both places.  Their are mountains for beauty, a mile overall climate.  Winter is like 6 weeks long.  Very few mosquitoes ( at least in Arkansas)  find a lake with a cabin and get a  small boat to explore the lake.  many have secluded coves to skinny dip to your heart's content

My favorite place would be a tropical island; living by an endless nudist beach and close enough to all the necessities of the modern world. Of course I would have to have the income to support this carefree life style.
Having just come back from Nude-a-Palooza at the Cove, I agree as well. We walked around the streets and discussed which for sale lots looked like something we would like. And we have a great time meeting new people, too. If not there, maybe a house really close to the Cove so we could go there whenever we wanted.
I would live all over the USA.  I would be an RVer.  I would probably have a home base somewhere or two...perhaps condos.  I would not take up permanent residence anywhere in the Northern half of the country.  As far as a home in town, country or beachfront, I would probably have a home in all of the above, but I would certainly have property within a naturist community.
Dont know where you got that idea about the Cove.  We have been members for years.  There are sinle male and female members and residents both there.  Ive never seen any discrimination on that,  race,  sexual orientation or anything else for that matter.  I have seen people accepted with health related issues,  mastectomies,  transvestites,  and gays.  What is not tolerated is flaunting of oneself and persuasion of sex or swinging.  Though Im sure secretly it probably goes on.  Basically anything threatening to others isnt tolerated. But Ive never found a statement such as yours to be true.

Anywhere where the seasons change but never gets too cold, where it only snows on Christmas, where Spring and Summer are long and warm and where I can look out of my windows and see nature not neighbors.  And, oh yeah, where I can walk to shopping and theaters and restaurants.  Doubt that it exists but one can always dream.

I hadn't really thought about the RVing, that might just be the ticket, as a single man, I really don't need a house and all the crap I've collected over the years. An RV would make me downsize (a really good thing) and reconsider what's important. If I don't like my neighbors, I could always move on short notice. spring here, summer there, winter way over there...might be perfect. Thanks!

For as long as I can remember, I wanted to live on an island secluded enough that I could live as naked as I desired.  It's a dream that will never become reality.  Just something that is not affordable.

I have put a lot of thought into this myself and founds many places around the U.S. that might work well. The RV thing is the best solution to begin with. That way you can take your time going from place to place living in the RV until you found the ideal place to settle. If you're looking for a home base you might consider Florida, Texas or Nevada since there is no income tax. At first I chose Florida but now am in Texas, have a motorhome, and traveling whenever the weather permits. Just remember, there is no perfect place - all places have their positives and negatives - and what might be good for one person might not be good for another. As a single male it would be easier if I had a travel partner. I have foudn many nudist places do not allow single men (disciminatory, yes- but that is the way it is). But, as I have stayed at both all male place as well as mixed I have found most people are much friendlier than not.
