Sexuality is an interesting beast. Until recently, I always considered myself to be "heterosexual" as that was the environment I was raised in. I never found myself sexually attracted to a man, and couldn't see myself kissing another man, but then I found myself enjoying porn that showed men's cocks, and men receiving blowjobs. That caused me to question myself a little, but I still considered myself hetero... It wasn't until I realized that there were some men that I found myself enamored with their cocks and fantasized about how I would like to lay with their cocks, and at the same time, there were some women that I didn't even take a second look when I saw them nude. Thinking back, I realized both of those had been true to some extent all my life, so I have accepted myself as being bi-curious, until I actually get the courage to follow through with some of the fantasies I have for how I want to please a cock...

I'm newish to being out and open about my bisexuality. I love the sensuous joy of being around other naked beings - male or female. Like you I can be turned on by some, and just enjoy the company of others. I find people's stories, and their eye contact, the most turn-on. It is a lovely feeling. Enjoy your life
We are heterosexual. But we never tell anyone.
You don't have to, its assumed and the benefits conferred. There is still a marked difference in the way sexuality (this term includes all the aspects of a person not just the act of intercourse, biology just decided that the terms used for humans would refer to the kind of intercourse we have , so the suffix "sexuality" is not a universal qualifier but a random placeholder that is not definitive of who we are) is inferred and power conferred and in which it is stigmatized and power deferred. Two women on a London bus were just beaten for being lesbians. No one is getting assaulted for being straight. When the world stops its often genocidal violence against LGBTQ2 folx, I'll stop affirming my sexual identity. Until then, the need for those of us not straight to assert ourselves is always going to be more important and with higher stakes than for heteros.

I am bisexual but my wife is straight as an arrow and very prude, so expressing it is very difficult for me. I knew from a young age I liked looking at other males sexually as much as females. Most early sexual experiences were only experimenting, but at age 18 I received the best blowjob in my life from an older guy, and loved it since. My first wife was bi and allowed me to pursue my bi side and was very cool with it. My current wife gets angry if I even talk about it. Honestly speaking though, the best sex I have ever had has been with other guys.

Bi sexual in an interesting way to live your life, but it's a pandoras box once opened can never be shut.
I'm bi and will always be bi now and it's five years now since I last hard a cock in my mouth. Do I miss it, sometimes.
It took me awhile to put everything back in their place and I'm alot happier for it.
But still there is nothing hotter than two hard cocks wanking together. One should try it before you die.

I agree... the best ..most sensual blow jobs come from men... I love women, but most (not all) treat giving oral as a chore. But the few men that have given truly enjoy giving.. and they never rush through it...

I totally agree....men seem to be much better at giving head. It's been a long while since I played with another guy but hoping to find someone nice here.

It's interesting to me that this discussion has never really gotten to the point of the term (which isn't merely about the acts one might do with a man or a woman) but the ability to love and be attracted to both on a variety of levels.

We do a disservice to any discussion with the puritan avoidance of sex in any rhetorical structure (biological science is apparently risque) it's not necessarily better to reduce hetero homo or bi to the acts of coitus or the run up to it.

We're more than that.

I'm much the same way. I did finally give a guy a blow job, found I like doing it, and have given many more since.

Sounds like you are sorting it out for yourself pretty good. Trans in many forms can be very appealing to both men and women. Sex at times can be something of an adventure for some people, treading into unknown territory.

My advice, for what it's worth, is: don't rush to generalize. You've had one relationship, with one person, that's been out of your previous experience. Your feelings for that one person are valid and loving. I wouldn't construe that to mean that you're suddenly a different person from who you were before, and that all of your tastes henceforth are going to be radically different.

Take each new experience as it comes, and keep your heart open to it, but don't fall into the trap that you're expected to now be as open to women as to men. Each new encounter should be judged on its own merits, evaluating the personality of the prospective partner and how it meshes with your own, rather than whatever equipment that person came with.

Let's face it: there were probably a lot of men, perhaps most men, that you weren't sexually attracted to, but a few of them created a certain spark, and you suspected that a sexual relationship might be worth exploring. Now that you know that having a female partner might create that similar spark, don't be afraid if it happens, but don't go looking for it, expecting it to happen all the time, and being disappointed when it doesn't.

I'm not going to get into that rat's nest of trying to distinguish lust from commitment, but as long as you do know the difference, you'll be able to compartmentalize them and know them for what they are.

Thanks LunaRover for your post and story, It's beautiful and courageous, which makes it good reading and you a beautiful and courageous person for writing it.
I agree with the wise feedback you've received and don't have much to add to your particular situation.
In general, I think we put too much focus on sexual orientation, which I see more of as a behavior than a lifestyle. The word homosexuality wasn't even invented until the Industrial Revolution. Before that people were just sexual, and that's still good enough for me. We could make a similar big deal out of asswiping: left, right or bi? Wipe up or down? With forums on bidets and how they transform us to come out, not to mention the intracies of toilet paper and reminiscing when it came in different colors and longing for it to be as wide as it was ten years ago.
Keep on supporting your friend too. I imagine transitioning may be like a second adolesence and worth having stable and supportive friends around. Good luck!

StevieLorna wrote:
My point was, we should not care what someones sexuality is. Its no ones business but your own.
Absolutely. One of the obstacles that modern nudism has is conflating nudity with sexual soliciting. For a long time, at least here in the US, nude beaches were one of the few places where gay people could hit on other gay people without social stigma. (Some beaches, like Fire Island in New York, were famous for that.) This is because the people there were largely composed of artists, writers, and other creative types who were more tolerant of other people's lifestyles. But when nude beaches were designated in other parts of the country, they didn't bring this tradition of tolerance with them, and you got more of a cross-section of a population. In those places, gays hitting on other men would often provoke a homophobic reaction and give the beaches a bad name. That's a shame, because the whole idea of naturism (in my own opinion) is to strip public nudity of these connotations, and to encourage people to "live and let live" without fear of shaming or judging. Being gay in this environment means nothing more than being left-handed, or being brown. Someone might be chatting with me, and come out as gay. I accept that, and expect him to accept the fact that I'm not, or that I am but I'm not interested in a sexual relationship with him, and that would be that. I guess that one of the reasons that couples find greater acceptance in the nudist community is that their sexual preferences are already on display, and questions like that don't have to be asked.
