Tom === Thomas S. TierneyJul 31, 2013
So, we just got back from a few days at the Forty Acres Club in MO. It's been about 7 years since we've been. Back then most all of the ladies were shaved down there. On this visit most of the ladies were not completely shaved just well groomed.
Is anyone else noticing that hair is coming back?
Yes, it certainly is noticeable. There are now more women who merely trim a little or have an increasingly large landing strip area, the fashionable 'pressure' to be completely bare seems to have eased off. These are women who took up hair removal in the pubic area only because it was a trend and to conform.
There are many of us who have always shaved out of choice because we wanted to and preferred to. When the trend for being bare took off, I certainly felt more comfortable and 'normal'. Before this, I was hesitant about being seen nude and felt odd. Among those who began to remove pubic hair as part of a trend some continue because they like it while others appear only to do it in summer.
Recently, I find from the gym and pool visits that even younger women are sporting pubic hair again but continue to shave underarms. I don't go to beaches or clubs often enough to know whether pubic hair is making a comeback among nudists. For me it is curious that removing underarm hair, which certainly once began as a trend is almost universal. Pubes on the other hand appear to come and go. Whatever the current position, I am glad that those of us who were considered odd and almost perverted many years ago are now accepted and that many others have adopted the practice without such fears or guilt.ReactReply - MEMemberMay 2, 2014

hello..you raise some interesting points. I guess another issue is that we now live in a much more hygienic world so many would argue that there is no need for pubic and/or underarm hair. pete
A great argument about shaving:http://youtu.be/k1k8tNbVNC0
Wow, she's a feisty one. I agree it is a personal choice. I like
smooth but occasionally let it grow out to a trimmed length. I like the
feel and look of trimmed and shaved more than au naturel. But, I do
not begrudge how anyone would want to have their hair.ReactReply - KE
KeithMay 2, 2014My Gal lives in the tropics and hates underarm hair so it is removed as a matter of fact, reason hairless looks cleaner and doesn't smell as much.
Her Pubic Hair comes and goes.
If it gets itchy or if she is contemplating a social nudist activity, it goes ( her reason, it looks cleaner and better bald) Other times it stays as it makes feel like a woman not a girl .. women who can understand them. But whatever her mood its her choice, I just get the maintenance job when its required.ReactReply - MAmako09May 3, 2014I haven't noticed a trend in more hair, if anything less. As for my wife and I we shave more when we are going to be nude with others. She will get ready to go out nude by doing her make-up and shavingReactReply

was just was at a small resort yesterday and only saw two people who were not smooth... so, from my little sample of 50 or so, smooth was still in
ReactReply - MAmako09May 4, 2014At the resorts we frequent most 50% or so are completely shaved pubes/chest/legs/ass "hairless" men and women, and the rest usually shave at least the pubic area, and the lone minority are the natural ones maybe 5%ReactReply

I know it's a female area here but as a male observer I feel total shaving detracts from a natural appearance while though have no issues with tidy trimming, which I do, for both sexes. I believe that pubic hair is there for a reason so shaving completely may not be totally advisable.

Joelle74May 5, 2014
Hair? That was a fun musical to watch.
Sadly it drags some in places and has few memorable songs though. Yet, the reasoning of the nude scene should have the backing of all true nudists.ReactReply - ST
StevieLornaMay 5, 2014We both prefer to be smooth.
Over the years we have been visiting nude beaches I noticed that almost all women were shaved the exception being the more senior ladies.
12 years ago it was rare to see a man shaved, I only trimmed back then, but now it seems that it's 50/50 if not more in favor of smooth.
As long as you're not overly hirsute and dark I think it looks much neater.

And I love my tats hoping to get a few more.
ReactReply - GAgaines_alanJun 7, 2014I just think the natural look is more appealing. That includes hair and natural breasts over the fake ones. Just one guys opinion. A little trim is ok, but I like all natural myself.ReactReply
