Jan 17, 2015I'm curious as to why there aren't many women on here that are certified. Makes me wonder how many are real women and how many are actually men posing as women. I'd love to hear a woman's opinion on this as to why you decided not to go through the certification process...which is very easy by the way.

I don't understand why people don't take the few minutes required to send in a couple of pictures for certification. Maybe it's a stand against the man kinda thing, but especially for the people who never cam, it makes me feel better to know that the person I am chatting with is actually the person in the profile pictures.ReactReply
- MEMemberMar 2, 2015I decided to do the certification process after a couple of days of being on the site.When I realized how easy the process is and that it still allowed me the ability to not post a profile pic, I didn't see any reason not to do it.I came to the site because I wanted to learn more about nudism. I will admit though that I do not see any real benefit in being certified.It has not enhanced my experiences on the site in any way.ReactReply

Mar 15, 2015There's no requirement that the nude photo submitted for certification be particularly revealing, if that's a concern. The face needs to show, to make plain that the nude and clothed photos are of the same person, but beyond that, there's no requirement about the pose, or about where the sign is held.ReactReply - MI
Mar 15, 2015Agree with SteveInKona. Never really sure if it is people looking for excuses or simply cannot be bothered. reading. As for the comment about needed to not be certified for professional reasons. Seems that is they great st reason to support certification to help identify those who are genuine.ReactReply - KE

Apr 16, 2015My question is why do you feel the need to come in here and harass people who have stated their reasons not to get certified. It may not be a valuable excuse for you, but for them it may be very valid. My reason is simply that I had forgotten all about it. But it will not prove the person is who they say they are. Taking a photo is just that.

May 19, 2015I certified after being here for three or four years but it was really just peer pressure more than anything. I don't see any benefit in the certification process and don't think it makes a person here any more, or less, a real nudist. It's like criminal record checks, people seem to put more value on certification than they should. It's meaningless.

As for mining for nude pics ... that can be done regardless and the only protection against that is not posting those pics in the first place. My personal policy has always been to not post anything I don't want my mother or my employer to see and then I have nothing to be concerned about.ReactReply

If they've gone thru the process that means something to me. Maybe not you, but it does count for something to me.
If a friend request comes from an uncertified member, I look at it critically and decide if to accept or not.
When chatting if a member is certified and has a filled out profile I will have an open discussion with them, otherwise I am more guarded and open up more slowly as they establish trust another way.ReactReply
