NudeInTheSunNJMar 19, 2011Usually darker beers are preferred for me. Smithwicks and Guiness make for a great black and tan.

I love the Sam Adam's seasonal beers.

MikeApr 17, 2011We have several favorites (Blue Moon, Guiness, and others), it depends on what type we feel like drinking. However, we recently visited Melbourne. During the trip, we made friends with a man who owns three Begium bars. After sampling some of the Begiums beers, we would have to agree with Mieke58 that they are very smooth and delicious tasting.

M_JimmieM_MApr 22, 2011
Just got Mr. Beer Kit as a gift. will keep updatedas how my home brew turns out. Any home brewers out there?
I have one of those and make a batch from time to time. I like to run the brew process to 14 days and the ageing after bottleing 14 days. I think the flavor ripens better than the shorter time listed in the instructions. If you are doing any of the lagers try to keep the room temps down like 60f the yeast works better.

Sunbeam65Apr 26, 2011I would much prefer to have a good glass of wine or even a cocktail if possible, but if there is only beer available I'll drink either a Corona or a Heineken. Without one of those I'd have to say I'd revert to "root" beer.

FortitudoApr 27, 2011I'll never understand why so many people like Heineken... When I was in Amsterdam, I went looking for a pub that served Belgian beers, just to get away from that watered down Heineken. They charged outrageous prices, even for a lager, but it sure tasted good. My absolute favorite beer is Duvel, followed closely by Leffe. I rarely drink nowadays (a student that doesn't drink, what has the world come to) but if I do, I'll pick one of these and take my time to enjoy it, rather than chug pint after pint, as a lot my friends usually do.

CraigSMay 5, 2011When here in the states I drink Coor's light...they go down easy and when really cold they aren't too bad...when overseas I drink the REAL Amstel or Marathon. But considering I really really really like beer I'll drink just about any type if I can't get the one I like best! LOL

DesertRatMay 5, 2011I've never developed a taste for beer, so I never drink it. While in college I had a job with a beer distributor where I was one of their more trusted employees because I wasn't drinking the profits.
