I find that gays are being more comfortable being nude in front of fellow men than the straight men. What is your opinion on that guys?
In my opinion, If the man is comfortable with his nudity, it doesn't matter his sexual preferences.
Or what my sexual preferences are. I've been hit on by gay men and straight women. It felt about the same to me. In both cases, when I turn them down, and they're cool with it and don't give me hard cheese, it doesn't affect my opinion of them. If they're not cool with it, well, that's their problem. If anything, people seem to be less likely to hit on each other when they're naked. They recognize that the other person is in a more vulnerable position than if they were clothed, and go out of their way to downplay any sexual attraction they may be feeling. That's my experience, at any rate.

Maybe it's because I'm a relatively new nudist but when I go to the nude beach, I'm very comfortable being nude in the company of men but women make me feel more inhibited. Don't know why.
Maybe it's because I'm a relatively new nudist but when I go to the nude beach, I'm very comfortable being nude in the company of men but women make me feel more inhibited. Don't know why.
Nudity promotes social equalization among men, there is instantly less competition and more cohesion. However, that equalization, for some men, may create a sense of vulnerability and lack of ability around women because in the world of clothing, the social class of women and men is in the textiles they wear, and women overwhelmingly still have uniforms that denote service or lower managerial status. Women tend to equalize up in nude groups. Nudist women (the ones I know anyway) also tend to be very confident (which to some men may seem unusual), used to far more harrassment and attention than men, so have the stance and the confidence down. You may also be remembering junior high dances where nervous male and female students lined two sides of a gym and everyone hated it. If you are of a certain age, you have also been nude socially with men all your life, and women, only recently. ;)

    That's a really good perspective.
