I have noticed that when Im nude at home and not doing anything that requires my full attention (like work or house chores) I am touching my private parts. For some reason, while I'm reading, watching TV or simply enjoying a moment of relaxation, I find myself having a feel of my penis and balls. I don't know why that happens, it's not deliberate, rather something spontaneous and natural.

In other contexts, while hanging out with other nudists, for example, it's a different story. There seems to be some tacit social etiquette that triggers my self conscious to not touch my privates. Would it be because in those circumstances I'm not as relaxed as when I'm home by myself? I dont know that but certainly, I don't think theres something sexual or wrong about it.

What about you fellow nudists, do you involuntarily touch your genitals? Could this be naturally instinctive in men?

No you are not wrong. Some people think eventing is sexual is all. Even when it is not. They think they are smarter than everyone else that is why they were calling us stupid and unintelligent.
i do that all the time i just like they way i feel in my own hand. when I'm at a nudist resort/campground i still find myself adjusting the same amount just not as long as at home. I just love playing with my low hangers!
This is what I mean about moronic, claiming to love openly playing with yourself in front of other nudists. You may not think it sexual, we may think you a moron.

I see what you mean, it is one thing to adjust, another when you wish to touch yourself around others. I refrain of adusting in pulics, in textiles or not. Now that I think about I seldom need to when nude. Most times it is the clothing constrictions.

Haha, as I read the first post I realized that I was doing it. I think for men and women its just a matter of "because its there". I think most of the time its subconscious. Even some of my female friends talk about touching or rubbing their breasts, again just because they're there. I guess your brain wants to make sure all of your parts are where they should be haha.
Annie here! It always amuses me - little boys find so many ways to talk about their peepee's
They lack the ability to hold any normal conversation, other than sexual, AND expect us to believe they are here for genuine nudism purpose.

It does not seem to be an appropriate discussion in this type of websites. It becomes more clear as I read what some people say who come here and it does not seem nudism related. Being nude does not have to be sexual.

When at home naked, yes I touch myself. No one is going to complain. The wife is near and has seen me do it. I am not getting a erection and not doing it to get one. Its almost comforting.
I do not do it in mixed Company . I do not do it for them.
I have been to the beach or hot tubs and seen other guys doing it, so its okay for me.

Yes, some people forget male bits hang outside the body and can't adjust themselves. Even my 9 year old son after his sister told him off said it's not like my penis can put itself where i want it.

I do the same thing. I find that at times my scrotum gets hung up and I have to straighten things out to be comfortable.
The header for all the forums is called ... Nudist Forums. Intelligent discussion about nudism Intelligent discussion. Intelligent. Perhaps it should be renamed Morons discus playing with themselves.
^This. This right here is precisely why I say, in reference to one of the statements in the OP, that I am most definitely NOT as comfortable in nudist environments as I am on my own. You can always count on someone from the self-appointed Prude Patrol to roll up with a mind to pass out sexuality citations. They always think they are more morally upright. They are always convinced they are just a cut above the rest of us chattering away about about dicks here in this -Wait! Hold on....Yes! YES! Here in the MEN"S FORUM!!! What were we all thinking discussing among ourselves whether something is a common, universal behavior among MEN or something that only a few do individually? And did we notice any self censorship of this behavior when in the places we theoretically were supposed to feel most free and at ease to be ourselves? How might this sort of self censorship effect younger males and how they see their bodies and what they think is normal? Should we be more openly embracing of our sexual sides - at least to the point of acknowledging such a basic comforting action as this, or is it better that we as nudist stay the course and continue acting as though we are life size Ken and Barbie dolls who can get fully naked but can never have sex? Why do we wail and moan about how wrong the world is regarding their estimation of nudity, only to turn around and do the same damn thing to the subject of sexuality? Are we so desperate to be seen apart from that awful, dreadul act of smushing genitals together that we'll throw sex under the bus at the drop of a pair of trousers? There. How's that? Have I fleshed out some of the themes within this discussion and spruced it up enough to make it intellectual enough to satisfy the Fornication Frowny Face Force?

I do touch myself, not in a sexual way, but,,,touching. I also comb my fingrs through my pubic hair, not sure why, both are just habits.

You have to admire the logic of the sanctimonious poster who alludes to a moral superiority by saying they dont judge people.

In almost 20 years of being a social naturist this subject has never come up in conversation, in fact naturist dont discuss their genitals in exactly the same way textiles dont.

Some guys seem to believe, simply because the have no trousers on everyone must want to talk about their cock and balls. These guys have as much in common with being a naturist as a cake mix has with scuba diving.

So I say, stop acting like pre-pubescent boys, grow up and grow a pair of balls instead of playing with them.

Or maybe Im just being a prude.
