MikeAug 20, 2014agree with Lebowski. It really is all about respect. How can we as nudists expect textiles to respect our views when some do no seem to have any intention of respecting others on this site.

They are here only to prey on nudists. I can respect the blank profiles over the profiles that are totally fictitious...Men pretending to be women, or a couple for cheap internet thrills.ReactReply - TR
TravellingbizguyAug 20, 2014
There's some pretty unwelcoming cliques on TN and some pretty militant nudists where if someone doesn't conform to their definition of a nudist then they're blasted. It's hard enough being judged by mainstream textiles, it shouldn't be in the nudist community too.
AmenReactReply - MI
MikeAug 20, 2014I do understand what you mean and i am appalled when i see comments such as "are you nuts" and some strong antigay sentiments expressed on the site. That is inappropriate on a supposedly supportive group. But given the diversity of people on the site, tend to accept that it will happen in any human environment and we can still find many others of mutual interests. Just takes a bit of effort as many seem reluctant to get involved in the forums etc. Such is life, regreattble. But the old adage applies about getting back being relative to what you put into the effort. It is worth the effort to get involved and build frienships
ReactReply - SUsunnmaxxAug 20, 2014It would be nice to see inappropriate posts taken down quicker. And amen to giving more respect to the women who post.ReactReply

Their responses to messages are to impersonal and single minded is visit their site.

DesertRatAug 23, 2014Getting back to the main thread. I believe that participation in group discussions is more of a guy thing and I'm including discussions on textile sites also. Women will participate on the sites exclusively for women. I believe that it is probably a cultural thing in that women are always afraid of offending someone. If they don't say it, they won't sound stupid or demeaning so they take the safest route in not saying anything.ReactReply - T=
Tom === Thomas S. TierneyAug 23, 2014There are several men on this site who should take that approach.ReactReply - JE
jerseygirl56ncAug 24, 2014Well I for one is not afraid of offending some one and if something is on my mind I do have a tendency to say it. But if someone offends me they will know it right away. For example if I am in the chat room and someone whispers to me something offensive I will call them out on public so the whole room knows. I have been offended more than once and it is no reason to go and take my profile down. There is a thing called flag and block. It works well for me,,,

DerrelSep 13, 2014I absolutely believe we should respect the women and everyone
else. And there is without question a
lot of “fakes: that don’t really belong here.
But on the other side of the coin, it seems some are a little too quick
to judge and want to flag anyone they don’t happen to agree with. Guess what I am trying to say is we should
be nice until it is time not to be niceReactReply - CA

It's awesome that you have a thick skin and can handle these creeps, but there is a tendency for guys to be jerks towards women, which must become tiresome even if it isn't offensive. In chat women get pestered with PM's all the time if they use their cam. If I use my cam with full frontal view, I get polite requests from guys asking if its OK to view my cam. Gay guys sometimes hit on me and try to hook up, but when I say I'm straight they apologize and leave me alone. Its a double standard that is not acceptable. I simply don't understand why men act in this way towards women. If we want to see lots of naked ladies on cam or in forums, then let's make it a safe environment for them and they will! bear it all!ReactReply - KR
