  I've been shaving for the last 40 years starting with a professional permanent hair removal of the jewel sack and with shaving of the rest of the pubic area. I do not have very much hair on the rest of the body naturally so is easy to keep myself bare.

  I shave for my desire to be smooth all over. I don't do it for anyone else but myself.

  Been shaving off and on for years. Recently did a video shaving and posted on here if interested. To confess I prefer Nair and did an instructional video but the file was too big - even split into before and after the 8 minutes. But afterward it still wasn't smooth down there so I did a quick shave with 5 blade straight edge to clean up and it posted. Let me know on the video and yes smooth is awesome. Posted on my media page (sideways since had camera set up that way - oops). AustinJohn

  I prefer neat and tidy as opposed to bald. I view it the same way as the hair on my head, it is something I maintain, but do not get rid of altogether.

  Perhaps theres a connection, I hate everything about the beach except actually being in the ocean. Would never dream of shaving or trimming my bush. Defintely one of my best features.

  I like to shave my genitals because I like the feel, especially when I am in the water. Smooth feels great. And it is easier to put on sunscreen.

  I never shave or even trim my pubes. I prefer them natural. I think natural hair is beautiful on men and women pubes

  I shave the pubes smooth already , so shaving before going to a beach , either textile or nude or C / O , doesn't much affect me . That's who I am and how I am . And if I'm allowed to be seen naked , that's how I am , shaved smooth of all my pubes . Having a smaller penis it allows it to be seen , instead of being hidden by hair .

Each to their own.

  I don't have to shave for the nude beach or any other time I am nude. I shave everyday, and always smooth from the neck down.

  We all think differently or what we like ..some guys like the smooth look others like to trim .. it doesnt bother me who is smooth or hairy!!!

  Your body, your choice!

  My choice is to trim with a #3 blade all over, except for the bush which I pluck by hand wearing a rubber glove to only leave the shorter hairs. I trim the scrotum closer, but don't shave to avoid nicks, and don't pluck as that creates spots. When I tried a #2 blade for the trimming, the hairs overlapped less and it was noticeable, to me at least.

  My goal is to have a look that's even but not thick, so I can feel the sun, use less sunscreen (amazing how much difference the extra hair makes!) and when I have to wear a swimsuit, which may be quite skimpy, there's no visible transition in hair density.

  I think it works out well. The shaved look is not for me since it's too out of the ordinary. I tend not to keep it up during winter unless planning an escape to warmer climes. Even the difference in the shower is noticeable once I have caught up!
