When it was my sons or grandson, I would say "If you don't like these shorts I can take them off." That tended to stop the complaints.

As it is it shows a real lack of respect to your sons and grandsons. Threatening them with your nudity rather than wear appropriate clothes.

You do know that these shorts used to be totally in style. So it's kinda like daisy dukes are now equated to a whole, is that what you are saying Steve.

Actually, if I'm careful to place the scrotum on one side of the centre front seam and the shaft on the other then my prospects are better but I haven't tried that for too long. But they are wonderfully light with a generous side slit and a lightweight nylon-spandex fabric and no hem, although the lightness definitely contributes to peeking. With another pair at 2" I'm fine for walking, just, and my 3" pair gives that extra margin. All require care when sitting, bending or crouching. The techniques girls in miniskirts use definitely come into play!

  Probably depends where one lives. In Australia Stubbies shorts used to be almost universal, but underwear would have commonly be some form of brief. I have no pictures of myself in them but this is quite typical.

  And when they were anything other than new, they would tend to crease up at the front from sitting, effectively making them a just little shorter again. :-)

I have no pictures of myself in them but this is quite typical.[/quote] When I mentioned something about Stubbies in the 1980s to my brother-in-law who lives in Australia. he said that the word more often referred to beer in small bottles than to shorts in Australia. Surprised me since Stubbies shorts were manufactured there. I was more surprised by a language difference on our last visit to Australia. We took our brother-in-law and his family to a fairly nice restaurant for dinner. There was a sign in the lobby that men in thongs were permitted in the bar area, but not the main dining room. Since thongs in the US usually refer to swimwear or underwear with little or no back, I was puzzled until our niece's husband said that it referred to the footwear usually called flip-flops in the US. Since he was wearing thongs (Australian definition) we had dinner at a table in the bar area.

  Im a short person with short legs, so I tend to wear shorter shorts. They are more comfortable to work out in at the gym and basically for any moving around. Of course nude is the best way to go, but not allowed at the gym or in public. Ive been going shorter and shorter at the gym over the past few months, and I love it. I just have to make sure I dont pop out of them. I started wearing some really short shorts this morning in the steam room, about two inch inseam. Much more comfortable!

  I have seen several advertisements for 3" inseam shorts that are snug on the thighs. I am a little concerned about accidental exposure since I don't wear underwear. Has anyone tried them?

  I wear ranger panties alot. We wore them for PT when I was in the military and are great workout shorts. They are very lightweight an lined but have a 2" inseam. They are also called silkies. There is a group called irreverent warriors that has silkies walks to help raise awareness for veteran suicide. They are great shorts to workout in or just hang out in when you have to wear clothes.

My wife commented that if our grandson didn't spend so much time here, I would probably get rid of all of them. I replied that I would keep a very few for working in the front yard and taking walks, but might never wear them again in the house or back yard!
