Shorter Shorts — The Mens Room on True Nudists

Some of my gym shorts are wearing out so I ordered 2 new pair yesterday.
Since our grandson is here more and I am going less places that expect better dress, my gym shorts have seen a lot of use lately
My current supply has inseams in the 8" (20 cm) range, well above the knee but not really short.
Wanted to try something shorter so I ordered one pair with a 4" inseam and one with 5".
Will be fine at home, but don't know how it will work when I eventually get back to the gym. One of the reviewers called them the ideal work at home uniform. I suspect most of us would disagree and say that the ideal at home work uniform is nothing at all!

I remember when I first started freeballing in gym shorts at home, when they were in the 2 - 4" range, my wife would comment that I would have to be more careful if we had company.

I was thinking that the bending, stretching and crouching that are part of yard work could cause similar problems.

Went the next step down and ordered a pair with a 3" inseam.
Probably won't be able to wear them to the gym, but they should be fine for yard work or when I can't be nude at home.

As expected, too short for the gym but fine for yard work and when I can't be nude at home.

Wore them for a while today. Even better than expected.
Notch on side gives a little more leg freedom.
If you put something in the pocket, it hangs below the hem.
Just like the shorts I wore many years ago.
Back then I almost always wore briefs, so i didn't get to fully appreciate how great shorts like this could be!

I say the short the better. I wear 5" shorts all the time, but have worn a lot shorter, especially at the gym. When I was younger and thinner I wore 1" BOA shorts. I can not stand wearing clothes at all and most times I am nude, but wear shortest shorts available when I do have to wear clothes. Thank God shorter shorts for men are making a come back, not that it stopped me before from wearing shorter shorts, because I don't care what people say or do. I wear what I like.

I don't go to the gym, however I do wear shorts as much as possible. The lighter and shorter the better. I usually buy light weight short and cut the liner out. I started wearing utility kilts 3 or 4 years ago. They are the cat's meow. They are light fabric, no restriction in the crouch, and very comfortable. Yet they cover what ever needs to be covered in public. The added bonus woman love them.

My longest shorts which I wear for the voluntary work which I do since retirement are 6" inseam but most of my shorts are 5" and my tan-through shorts are 4".
I mostly wear the latter on holiday where they have been totally acceptable in the street, shopping, restaurants and public transport.
With a penis which is usually 5" flaccid I don't think I should go for anything less for general wear.

Someone sent me a private message to see me in my 8", 5" and 3" shorts so I posted them on my profile page. Can't figure out how to copy them to a post. While I was reducing my coverage, I added pictures in a very brief swim suit an full nude. Last one may be deleted because I am not ready to post pictures with my face.

When I have more time that I do now, I will try to upload the 4 that are not fully nude and see what happents.
Late response, but I did try 2 times without the nude photo and the pictures still disappeared.

I cannot stand those that rub against the back of the knee like the standard basketball shorts that are popular, especially when swimming. It's bad enough to have anything on, but the local water park would frown on not wearing shorts. They even frown on anything that remotely could be considered thong-like, male or female. John aka cobeachbum[/quote] I can't stand shorts that touch the back of the knee either. I prefer dress shorts a little above knee, about an 8 inch inseam. Most of my gym shorts have been about the same length in the past, but bought some 5 inch ones lately and like that length better. Used to wear very short shorts in the 70s, but the were more common then and l wore briefs under them.

Fortunately, short shorts are normal in Australia/NZ. Many guys, such as myself, wear NRL or AFL football shorts as every day clothing. Aussies and Kiwis aren't afraid to show some leg. And the fact is, they're far more comfortable with very little restriction of movement.

I have very short loose fitting shorts. Feels great with a nice gentle breeze blowing round the nuts on a warm summer day.

Regarding the tan through fabrics, does the disguise in the pattern fabric work for all people?
I understand that when viewed by people with colour blindness, military camouflage is no less effective due to the different way they perceive colour (and all colour is the result of chemicals, which would be different between dyed fibres and natural objects).
Perhaps tan through is vulnerable in the same way and a small section of the community have X-ray vision when it comes to tan through, and they're not telling us!
